My favorite was from a poster who started a thread about how to get a free lunch at Disney. They said to get a free cup of water and then use the topping bar to create your own salad. It was a hysterical read!

That was a good one!

Any Disney Dining plan pros/cons thread including the one where the Plan is causing everything including Global Warming and must be stopped. I also learned not to post anything even a little negative about Poly ...just doesn't go over well.

Anyone remember the thread where some nutritionist from LA complained about all of the "fat" people she saw making numerous trips up to the buffets and how disgusted she was by that?

That thread had me rolling with laughter at how angry people were getting when it was obvious that this person was just trying to stir the pot and get attention.

That one was so outta control it was hysterical!!

What I would be disgusted by is if these "fat" people did not leave enough food at the buffet for this (me) "fat" person to get his fill.

Ha! I remember that thread..it made me laugh because many of the nutritionists I know don't practice what they preach..they're either fat too, or they go the other extreme and are anorexic(I've known a couple like that at the hospital)

I go every year and actually come back a few pounds lighter despite the food...all that walking.

Can we just go there for a minuet? This is OT but similar to point of this comment.

People who use their body to hold a parking space. OMG, it burns me! Hasn't happened in Disney, but over Christmas time this lady, stood in a parking spot for what seemed like 20 mins waiting for her family/friend/whatever to come FORM THE OTHER SIDE OF THE MALL and park. She flatly refused to move, my DH tried pulling in and she turned around, I wanted to go off. We found another spot and just watched as people kept trying to park and she would shake her head and turn around. Mind you, this was the last few days before Christmas, the mall was packed and there were zero parking spots. Anywho... sorry about the rant! But this is what popped into my head when I read this comment

The parking space story reminds me of a Cheers episode with the starting teaser.
A group of people are gathered around looking at Woody lying on the side of the street, wondering if they should call an ambulance, when Sam pulls up in his Vette, and Woody jumps up to let him park.

Just remembered another one.

Single parents (ESPICALLY mothers) are not allowed in Disney. How dare they travel alone with their children, oh the outrage. Sometimes those get so nasty I feel like some might keep social services # for the area on speedial on thier cell.

One was the Tinkerbell thread.... this one poster said she thought Tink was a bad role model for young girls because she tries to kill Wendy, is impulsive, rude, ect, ect, ect.....

Then all these people who love tink show up and call her a feminist icon, say she is a better role model than the princesses who just get married, live lives for men ect.

The other one is the Disney kills all the Mom's threads/ Disney characters are too sexualized/ Who is Max's mom thread

People don't want to have icky thoughts about Goofy having adult relations, but some people don't mind thinking about having them with Jasmine/ Esmerelda/Jack Sparrow


Those threads always cause wars.

Seriously? They are HILARIOUS topics to fight over!!!! People actually fight over them....?!?!?!
