Which Extinct Attraction is Better Than It's Replacement?

One itty-bitty one comes to mind that you neglected to mention, and if it was in the poll, I'd expect it to win by a landslide:

H O R I Z O N S !

What about 20,000 Leagues Leagues Under the Sea?

I love Pooh but I loved Mr Toad's Wild Ride more :thumbsup2

I think it is so funny that Alien Encounter is leading the votes at this time, when you consider that everyone hated Alien Encounter. I think that kids like Stitch more and we must try and remember that WDW isn't just for grown-ups!;)

Not everyone hated AE, obviously. We loved it. Older kids loved it. We need to remember that WDW is for Families & Families have children of all ages. They took away something that pre-teens & teens liked - the exact market that Universal is gunning for. If WDW wants to keep families coming back year after year, they need to keep stuff for ALL age ranges, not just the younger set.

Besides, Stitch is just a Bad Show. Period. I have yet to hear anyone say they or their kids actually liked it.

I do wish Horizons had been on the poll too. I would have chosen that along with AE & the original Imagination.

Horizons was much better than Mission:Space. I could ride Horizons!

I said none, but I wish I would have gotten a chance to ride Horizons.

I miss Horizons as well! Horizons and the old Journey into Imagination used to be my favorite EPCOT attractions! I can't believe they're basically gone. :sad2:

I voted for Toad. Where else in Walt Disney World could you go to Hell?

My 8-year old likes Stitch, although she doesn't like the chili burp part. I didn't like AE all that much. Too many crying kids. I actually think that Stitch and AE are just about equal.

Oh crap, I voted backwards! Blonde moment! :headache:

ITA. Horizons was my favorite ride in Epcot growing up, with the oringinal Journey into Imagination a close second... :sad2:

:lmao: I don't think EVERYONE hated Alien Encounter (we didn't, our whole family loved it, but our kids were older the first time we took them to the World!) but yeah, I get what you are saying. There was a lot of griping about how scary it was for kids, and so on and so on, and Disney changed it and so now you hear how great Alien Encounter was.

Personally I don't like Stitch much anyway so that was no way to win me over! :)

I want the subs back too! And bring back Dreamfinder!

When I was a little girl, I distintcly remember one of my first Disney World rides being on 10,000 Leauges Under the Sea. Dad had the book at home and had just read it and I remember thinking it was pretty much the neatest thing next to sliced bread that we got to ride what Dad had just read...

Now that it's gone, I get sad every time.

Winnie the Pooh is okay, but not nearly as good as Mr. Toad's, so I voted for that. I LOVED Horizons, but I haven't been back since they opened Mission:Space. It has huge shoes to fill. I'm riding it next month and unless it's just totally awesome, then I'd have to change my vote.
