Which DVC resorts are near Epcot?

Which DVC resorts are near Epcot within walking distance? Also, which one is the closest to Epcot, and why would one be better to stay in than the other.

BCV and BWV are the DVC resorts within walking distance to EPCOT. IMHO, neither is "better" - it just depends on what you want and your personal preferences.

BCV is the closest to EPCOT (but it's a longer hike to MGM) and has SAB - a great pool complex.

BWV is close to both EPCOT (maybe 5 minutes longer to walk there than fromn BCV) and is also close to MGM. It has quick access to the Boardwalk (which is a 5 -10 minute walk from BCV), a very nice pool with a slide and Community Hall. CH has lots of fun activities for kids.

To add to this point, you can walk from BWV to MGM Studios in about 20-25 minutes. From BC I'd add another 10 minutes to the walk time. Yes it is much faster to take the boat, but I love to walk and the path is right along the water. Theoretically you can walk to 2 theme parks from either resort.

I believe that BWV to MGM is 2/3 mile, and to Epcot, 1/2 mile(from measurements done by another member). Thus walking at 3 miles per hour should give you 10 minutes to Epcot, 14 minutes to MGM.

And at the BWV, much depends on what area of the resort you are in. If you are at the end near the tennis courts, that will shave a good five minutes off of the walk to MGM.
