Which Date is Better

Which date is better to go for Christmas 2006? 11/25 - 12/2 or 12/9-12/16 ? I am trying to decide between these two dates and was wondering if one is any better than the other as far as crowds.

Hazarding a guess, I'd think 11/25 to 12/2 would be pretty crowded the first few days (that's the weekend of Thanksgiving), but then it should be pretty quiet? 12/9 - 12/16 looks pretty safe, though. I'm guessing it might be a little quieter overall.

My vote would be for 12/9 - 12/16. It would be before all the kids get off from school.

My vote is for 12/9 to 12/16. Dh and I just got back from our trip (12/8 to 12/16) and the crowds were basically non-existant. The longest wait for anything was about 20 minutes. I imagine that going in late November would overlap with some Thansgiving vacationers.

I would choose your second dates as well. Some people will warn you that those are the dates Pop Warner will be there as well. We were there at the same time this year. We stayed our first four days at the CBR and then 7 days at the GF. We didn't think Pop Warner was a big deal. So I would choose that second week. Some others have posted that they had lots of Pop Warner trouble. We'd still go at that time.

Your right, I just didn't notice you skipped a whole week. I'd definately choose your second week.

I have been considering similiar dates also and I think I will lean toward the late Nov dates. Reason being I have young kids and Disney is an exhausting trip. It generally takes a good week to get back to normal and I do not want that happening during Christmas. Also, someone usually comes home sick and would rather get that over with before Christmas too. Anytime will be a blast though!
