With kids I would do Christmas, without kids I would do New Years Eve.

My daughter brought this up recently and I explained that if Santa brought a cruise that would be the present. Not a trip AND presents.

On a NYE cruise atm. The special activities are limited to December 31st, while Christmas activities on a Merrytime cruise go on during the entire cruise. If I had the choice, I would go on a Merrytime cruise.

I've done a few Christmas cruises on various lines including Disney. They are really fun, the decorations are beautiful and the activities go through the entire week. I do want to try a NYE cruise eventually, but I feel like once NYE happens the rest of the cruise will just be like a normal cruise. Also, the Christmas cruise will be slightly cheaper although both will be really expensive. A fun combo could be a Christmas cruise and spend NYE at Disney World after.

That’s what we will be doing this year spending Christmas on the ship then NYE at Disney World! Can’t wait!
