Which airport for Vero Beach ?

Flying to Florida in July and wondering which airport is the best to fly into for Vero Beach. Spending 3 days at VB and than we are going to drive to Disney and stay 9 days at OKW. We will fly back home from Orlando international. I know I have read it but can't find it yet. Thanks in advance.

I think it's the Melbourne airport.
Vero Beach is beautiful!
My mother-in-law lives right down the street from the resort.

MCO is 96 miles from VB.About 1 1/2 hours drive.

Orlando is the closest major airport about 2 hours and 100 miles away, Miami is about 3 hours and 170 miles away, Tampa is about 3 and one-half hours and 190 miles away. Melbourne is closest of all, 1 hour and 30 miles away -- but was not available for the free tickets and the times we wanted to go.

Melbourne is about a a 1/2 hour north of VB, but you'll probabily find that a lot of airlines charge alot more to fly there then one of the major airports, and that inbound flights are less frequent than Miami, Orlando, or Palm Beach....

We always fly into Orlando, and then get a rental car.. The drive is about 90 minutes, and most of it is highway or express way....
