Has anyone seen Peter and Windy at MK lately? If so when and where in the park?

My daughter (7) has a huge crush on Peter Pan - during our first trip in 2002 when she was 5 she got close to him during the afternoon parade when Minnie picked her out of the crowd and they skipped around the float that Peter was on , it was so cute , she was dreamily staring at Peter as her and Minnie skipped around the float. Anyway we tried to find Peter Pan in the park so she could get her picture taken with him by checking in with guest services almost daily. One day we were told that he would be near the pirates of Carribean at a certain time , we went and waited and he never showed. We are going again in June and unbelievabley she still has a crush on him - LOL I'd love to be able to get her picture with him this year. Please post if you have seen him and where.

Thanks So Much!!!:earsgirl:

We saw Peter Pan and Captain Hook to the right of Pirates of Carribean. Hope this helps. I don't know about Wendy.

Last month we saw both Peter & Wendy in front of Tony's Town Square in the MK. :D

Last month, I saw Peter with Hook and Smee near Pirates of the Caribbean at MK. I've also usually seem to find him in Town Square with Wendy, but last time only Wendy was there.

My son also loves Peter Pan and Captain Hook. If we can find them, it will MAKE his trip! We'll have to keep an eye out for them!

WOW! Thanks everyone for the quick replies!! We will definately be on the hunt for Peter Pan this year and hopefully we'll find him.

Thanks again!!:earsgirl:

he is usually by pirates. over the summer i was apart of one of the most fun character meetings. hook kidnapped wendy over by pirates and peter came out and made all of us in line do silly things to find wendy. we had to play follow the leader. keep in mind i'm 21, following peter pan with a bunch of 8 year olds. it was soooo much fun!

Over the Christmas/NY holidays we saw Peter Pan and Wendy in front of POTC and behind the Christmas gift shop next to Liberty Tree Taven.

You can go to Guest Relations at MK and ask when and where a certain charactor will be appearing that day. We were looking for Belle, Snow White and Cinderella. They gave us the correct info. on when and where.:D

Wendy was at Cinderella's breakfast in December. Since those "princesses" rotate all the time, though, it's probably not a good place to try to find her, unless you're going to see Cindy anyway!

Hook and Smee we saw nearly every day on the circle in front of the castle, in front of the bridge to Adventureland. Uusally just after Cinderella's Surprise Celebration when they all come out to do greetings. Even if you don't stand in line to see Hook, make sure you say "Tick tock, tick tock, tick tock" as you walk by him :) He chased us down to try to "string us up"!!

Best place we saw Peter was at the end of our Grand Gatherings event...the Magical Fireworks Voyage. It was so special for my kids. They both LOVE Peter Pan and were completely start-struck when they saw him. He was SO unbelievably sweet with my 3 year old DD, who was so overcome that the normally non-stop talker couldn't say a word, she just smiled this huge, silly smile! Peter talked to her anyway for several minutes...we were last in in line so he spend lots of time with us, even though it was only 39 degrees out that night and we were standing on the dock at the Contemporary! He was out best character interaction to date, and we've been so many time we've lost count!

Hope you find Peter...he's really worth it!
Katie

He is always (with Captain Hook) between the Pirates attraction and the store in Adventureland. You should find more info in the paper with times once you get to the park. You can also ask a cast member to call for info, in case he's not out in time or stays inside because of bad weather.

Okay, I know that this isn't at MK but if you are around the U.K. at EPCOT we have seen him there almost every trip! Almost a sure bet!

if your daughter enjoys Peter that much and you can afford it, you might want to think about doing the Family Magic Tour. From my understanding, it's like a scavenger hunt through the MK, with the end result being a private greeting with Peter and Wendy near the castle. The kids then get to ride on one of the rides with Peter (usually IASW). I'm not sure how much it costs though.

This is just a vent, but......
I KNOW WHERE YOU CAN FIND PETER PAN!
He's in Spectromagic, parading around on Main Street, blocking my camera shot of the beautiful Evil Queen while screaming "What do we think of Captain Hook?" with his thumbs down and booing!
I think I am the first person in MK history to call Peter Pan some un-Disney names (but only loud enough for my friend to hear me, don't worry). I kept darting back and forth, back and forth, to get the shot, but he stayed right in front of me! It would have been the PERFECT shot of Disney's coolest villain, who is basically impossible to find.
DAMN YOU PETER PAN!!!! I will be back December!
haha.

lol Yeah. I have had a problem like that before. Except in my case it was perfectly innocent and I got a sorry. Maybe it was my lady like "GET OUTTA MY WAY...PLEASE!" lol They looked over at me, never loosing the Disney fun and ducked! The picture of Peter crouched down so I could get my picture was 6 times as good as the picture I wanted to get!

Gotta remember that one. :teeth:

LOL Anytime. Just remember to credit me and my big mouth!

LOL - Thanks Everyone! Lots of good ideas here on meeting Peter Pan! I really am considering the Family Magic Tour just to insure that she can meet him. He is always part of ths tour - right? :D I will also be keeping our eyes open at Epcot too :earseek:

Sorry to hear he ruined your photo op Angey77 - lol - I can't help but smile picturing it cause my DD would have loved it if he would have been that close while we were watching Spectro :teeth:

Peter is not guarenteed as being the character at the end of the tour so you never know. Belle, Mary Poppins, Aladdin, and others have been known to be the character at the end as well.

Thanks Meeko - That is good to know - I would have been disappointed if I booked it soley for my DD to see Peter Pan and he wasn't there. Now that i know that though we still may try this - I just won't tell her about possibly seeing Peter.

Thanks :earsgirl:

The family Magic Tour is really alot of fun and is a very memorable experience. You're not quaranteed Peter Pan, but he does seem to be the character most likely to appear. I think the cost was about $25 p/p. :wave2:
