Where to buy AP's?

On the member website, go to :
Member Privileges / Member Perks / Walt Disney World Resort / Walt Disney World Annual Pass Savings and More Disney Magic / Walt Disney World Annual Pass Savings. About half way down the page will be a section titled 'How to Purchase a Pass'. Click on 'Walt Disney World Ticket Store'.

Discounted Annual Passed can not be purchased at a Disney Store. They must be purchased from MS, on-line or at WDW.

Now that you can so easily buy the TIW discount card on site, there's really no advantage to buying the AP or PAP online or in advance unless:

1. You think the price will go up before your trip.

2. You have several to buy and want to spread the cost out over the course of several months. (You can do this by just saving the money ahead of time, too).

Carol,

I asked our guide yesterday at DWTD,if we buy them, say today, does the one year start from today. she said, no, not until you first use them, which will be in October (when we go), but she also said it might not be a bad idea to purchase them now, before a possible price increase.
Finally my question: does anyone know if they increase the price on a regurlar basis? We don't want to wait and see the price increase in the summer. or is it one of those things that may or may not happen.
We would like anyone's opinion.

What is TIW?

TIW is Tables in Wonderland. It is the new name for the Disney Dining Experience. It's a discount program that gives you a 20% discount on food and beverage (including alcoholic drinks) at most WDW table service restaurants. It is available to annual pass holders and Florida residents. You can find more info by clicking the link below:

Disney doesn't announce ticket price increases in advance. Sometimes we hear about it here on the DIS a day or two before it takes effect. There really isn't a regular pattern. The last price increase was August 3, 2008.
