Where to activate APs

We will be flying to Fort Lauderdale and spending a few days there before heading to WDW. We will be arriving in Orlando late (8PM) on a Saturday night and want(need) to activate our APs before arriving at POFQ. Where is the best place to do this on a Saturday night? Is there anywhere between Ft. Lauderdale and Orlando? Thanks for any help!

you can activate them at any of the parks...also, there is a place at DTD....I don't think you would necessarily have to activate the AP before you check in...I would think you'd be able to activate it in the morning and then take it back and show it at the resort later without any problems though...

WE activated ours at MK or you can activate them at any of the parks

I would go to Downtown Disney. There's a guest services office by the Once Upon a Time Toy store, near the restrooms, on the parking lot side.

Where can you buy AP's on site? or do you have to have them bought and paid for before arriving?
