VDH Questions for Purchasing

Yeah 50 points doesnt sound like a lot and then your like ugh lol. I just dont want to get in over my head and then be Disney poor and not even be able to go comfortably lollll. I love to shop and eat at all the good restaurants when we go!

Yeah...think of everything you can buy on your trips with the money you save by getting 150 instead of 200.

@Girlstar30 What I'm "hearing" you say is that you don't feel comfortable going above 150 points right now, even though you want more. Long term, it will cost more per point to do 150 now and add on more later, but 200 makes your gut reaction kick in and put on the brakes.

I can almost feel from here that vibration you're feeling between your head and heart disagreeing. Good luck deciding!

P.S. I know you have a post saying you decided, but you've posted one of those about 20 times in this thread.
Haha, This is exactly what I am dealing with.

150-200? 300? Head vs Gut vs Heart! Who wins??

I really hope they aren’t playing games with your recision period… If this goes on too much longer, I would call the main line, politely, on a recorded line, and say that you need to speak to a guide, and yours has not been responsive for several days.

I’m very surprised, whenever I have called my guide - and that has been over multiple guides (they seem to quit after dealing with me) their voicemail always states what their day off will be.

The one exception/oddity I had was when my first guide, Kathy, retired? Was fired? Got sick? Moved on to another job? Died? From Disney, her email account stayed active, and there were no replies.

I would make sure this is addressed by Friday or Saturday at the latest, so that you can adjust what you need to WELL AHEAD of the recision timeline…

Hearing accessible one bedroom: of course I always give some grace for those who actually needed to book accessible. The reason I like it is I know exactly what room I’m going to get because there’s only one I think? And it’s on the monorail Pool side at a decent elevation/view.
Ive had that room. The view is great.

More excitement for your direct purchase. We are getting the 2027 member cruise out of California! (San Diego…7 nighter). Booking February 28.

OMG. That's my home port. I already have the treasure booked a couple weeks after that. There's no way we could take off enough work to do both. o_O 🎻😭

I know in the past, the member cruises were known as expensive sales pitches. I hope that's still the case and I won't feel bad about missing it.

on topic - @Girlstar30 if you aren't hearing back, can you just call the regular sales # and let them know you want to change your contract?

So she finally called me!! I was seriously considering calling the main line and would have if it would have gone on one more day. I think she was worried I might do that because she told me to please not to do that because then I would have to buy if they gave me an offer in 7 days or some bs like that loll. She def didnt want to lose us.

Anyways she said her car was smoking and she apologized. On the bright side she seemed really really happy that I was going with vdh! I guess sales are a little slow there as suspected. She said she didnt try to push me in direction because I was clear I wanted Poly, but she thinks its a great choice for us because we're still young (kind of lol) and we will have it for life.

Im also really happy because she scheduled a date to come in person to sign so she can show us around the hotel and give us a history tour and fun facts. As a disney nerd, sounds great to me!
