Where is everyone from??

Born at Travis AFB, Ca and lived my first 16 years of life split between Dixon, Ca and Clark AFB in the beautiful Philippines. Dad retired from AF in '91 when we moved here to beautiful Melbourne, FL--just a hop, skip, and a jump from the port!! And only an hour from WDW (which my 6 1/2 month old has been to 5 times already and has spent a weekend at AKL!!). I grew up visitin DL every year whil in CA. and even took a week vacation to Tokyo, Japan (while living in the PI) and went to DL Tokyo!!
:hyper:
taswira--spent 2 weeks in San Diego/La Jolla/Encinitas in summer of '94 and LOVED it. Have to say it ranks up there.....I LOVE San Francisco, too.

Born in South Chicago......grew up in Calumet City Il. and now live in Crown Point Indiana. 1 Hour South of downtown Chicago.

<font color=navy>I'm from the South Bay area of Los Angeles .... near the ORIGINAL Magic Kingdom

I live in beautiful Missoula, Montana, where we finally made it above 10 degrees today. This is filling out a week of below freezing temperatures (as the high). Two weeks ago it was 80 degrees!

We had our fires this summer, along with a record number of days of 90+ degree weather. :yo-yo:

Come on February... :hyper:

Taswira--

Travis and I are not from Daytona but we're die-hard Disney fans, that's for sure! We're usually at the parks 2-3 times a month and would go more if it wasn't for school! :teeth:

Perhaps we'll have to meet for lunch at Disney one day!

Independence, Missouri, here. I went to Truman High School....which is not located on Truman Road (1.5 miles away) but is right next to the Truman Station USPS. Truman Medical Center is less than 5 miles from here, and when I want to go to a KC Royals or KC Chiefs game, I go to the Harry S Truman Memorial Sports Complex. My FIL is a docent at the Truman Library and Museum. I think you all get the idea.

(seriously, it's a lovely town.)

bnickle....Brenda...I agree..we were in Branson in June, 2003 and decided to do several day trips to St. Louis and one to the Truman house and library...we truly loved Independence...had a soda at the Clinton (I think) soda fountain in town!! Too bad I didn't know about your FIL or I would have looked him up!! Couldn't believe how simply Truman lived...we should have more presidents like him!! If we ever get out there again, I'll have to get tips from a resident!! We wanted to go to the church with the spiral tower but it was closed. You are very close to Kansas aren't you?

BLUE SPRINGS, MISSOURI

A suburb of KANSAS CITY MISSOURI. Home of the CHIEFS!!!

Only undefeated football team in the NFL!!!!:hyper: :hyper: :hyper:

I am from Kersey Pennsylvania, But have lived in sunny Florida for the last 21 years. I live about 35 min. away from Disney, we go when we can. Kids and I are in school 5 days a week.

Not an easy question...DH is military & we are both from suburban Cleveland, OH.

In the last 10 years, I have 'been from' Kodiak, Alaska; San Diego, CA; Tampa Bay area of FL & we are currently 'from' New London, CT.

It's too funny to be on vacation and have someone ask 'Where are you from?' The answer sort of depends on our mood! Sometime we both give different answers! Sometime DH and I just look at each other and wait for the other to answer!

Hey, Istokes! We're neighbors.....I'm on the Eastern side of Independence.....RD Mize road back behind the AMC Commons.

Isn't it nice to be able to brag on the Chiefs? The only thing that makes my husband happier is that Oakland is 2 and 6.
