Wow, how can I be the first Texan to respond??

Pearland, Texas, here... about 25 miles in from Galveston Island. I was born and raised in Houston, but got the heck out as fast as I could. Just not a city girl. I love Pearland more than words can say... very much a Hometown U.S.A. kinda place.

I think it's so neat to see how far-flung across the globe we all are, but we have our love of all things Disney that brought us all together here. It really is a small world afterall.

Because of hubbies job we are bi-coastal, right now we are in Jacsksonville FL, after the 1st of the year back to San Jose Ca for a few months. We own houses in both places so I guess both are "home"

Loved seeing were everyone eles was from.

It's fun to see where others live, along with the "aha's!"...my dad lives in Pleasanton, I certainly have a picture in mind of other So Cal communities, I was in Charleston pre-Hugo, etc

I grew up in Bayport and graduated from high school there. My family then moved out to Remsenburg, which is by Westhampton. My husband and I lived in West Islip for 11 years prior to moving down to Naples. Where are you living?

Yes, we're having record cold for this time of the year. Was waking to single digits last week. It's a "warm" 28 right now.

17 more days and we'll be in WDW..then laying on beautiful CC!!
yippee!..I'm ready for some warm weather already.

Born and raised in Southern Calif. Came from Riverside California 8 years ago. What a change from sunny Calif. (but smoggy) to beautiful Montana.

Originally from 'slower' (Dover), then my dad got smart and moved us 'above the canal' (Newark). Parents now have a beach house near Rehoboth so we spend a lot of time 'below the canal' again. When I spend a lot of time down there I can hear that 'slower lower' accent come out in me and DD picks it up rather quickly too.
There is a store in Millsboro called the 'Slower Lower Delaware' store. Their logo is a turtle, cute things.
