It is about an hour due east. It is just south of the Kennedy Space Center.
That's not too far. Next time we go I would like to go to the beach for a few days. I love the gulf coast beaches. I used to go to Clearwater Beach a lot growing up.
Is it one of the topiaries of the Fantasia brooms?
Good guess but nope.
Looks like a nice beach. How far from Disney is it?

We landed in Orlando, rented a van and headed for the Boardwalk. Our rooms weren't ready so we decided to make the rest of the day our "beach day" instead of taking another day away from the parks. DD and her family had been there 4 days already and DGD's needed a break from the parks. ME hadn't delivered our luggage yet and poor planning on MY part
meant no change of clothes. DH and youngest DD had packed beach clothes in their carry-ons. So I was stuck in my traveling clothes.
