As I was taking a shower , I started thinking about Cocoa Beach and remembered that you drive from NH to WDW. Next trip...give yourself an extra day and get off the "main road". Many years ago, before our daughters entered high school and the "Bank of Mom & Dad" opened, we took a rare 10 day vacation to DW. On one of our "non-Disney" days we drove to St. Augustine (love that historic city ) and then traveled south on Florida State Highway A1A through all the coastal communities. A beautiful drive which ended at Cocoa Beach at sunset and that seafood restuarant...can't remember the name of it, just know it was on the Banana River. You want 'beach"...that drive gives you BEACH!

That sounds like my kind of drive. I love taking drives along the coast like that.

Would your crop be Pluto's ears? Is it the sign on the shop on Hollywood Blvd...Mickey's of Hollywood or close to it?

Not Pluto's ears. Not part of a sign. Not Mickey's of Hollywood but it is on Hollywood.

Mine is from HS.

It is outside. You could say it is some sort of art sculpture. It is not an ear. It is from a park.

It's not part of an attraction or food service. It's not part of a shop but it is near one.

Not Pluto's ears. Not part of a sign. Not Mickey's of Hollywood but it is on Hollywood.

yesterday we went to 3 different places looking for tiles for my Nan's new kitchen

what we discovered there are toooooo many chooses when it comes to colors, style and design in tiles lol

St Augustine is a very nice town. Many years ago i made a couple of trips up there and you can drive/park on the beach.

"Bank of Mom and Dad" I will have to use that on my DS & DD that the Bank of Dad has run out of funds and closed

...and there's no BAILOUT for US! It's been 12 years since last one graduated high school and "the bank" still has to open occassionally!

Oh the bank of mum and dad. They currently are offering room rent free (thank goodness since work is so inconsistent) but funds wise those doors closed long ago lol.

How nice to get a new kitchen! But, oh the construction I'm sick of the work on my front porch and there's still more to come. It seems endless.

Hi Everyone. I'm sorry for suddenly disappearing for so long!
