Anxious to see the new nighttime parade! Allie will be running in the marathon (she's following in Ed's footsteps ) so we're planning at least a weekend visit in January to support her but I'm "REALLY wanting a Christmas visit again too.

Tell her that i will run next to her in another dress. I need to expand my wardrobe

Would it be the ABC place if it is still there? It has been 5 1/2 years since i have been in a park up there. My Daughter and i were running the Princess Half in February 2020. Then a couple of weeks later is when everything shut down.

Thanks for the birthday wish! My "baby granddaughter" is now 23 years old! David and I would LOVE to have you run next to her in a dress...at least she'd be easy to spot! She's been doing great with her training and improving her time a little over the half-marathon she did in Melbourne. She's not kidding herself though...this will be her first FULL marathon and she just hopes to finish before the noon deadline. Her "plan" is to run a couple-3 miles and walk a mile. She thinks she can complete it by doing that. Our plan is to fly in on Thursday, the 8th and return home on the 13th. Believe it or not her spring ... and final... semester starts the Monday after the marathon so she'll have to go back to Melbourne Sunday evening. Sara's staying an extra 2 weeks so she and Katie can attend the dance competitions at ESPN the week after the run; I'd LOVE to stay too but will have Christmas decorations waiting to be taken down! Would LOVE to see y'all again! We're making tentative plans for an October visit to Melbourne and, if they materialize, will drive down to WPB for lunch or dinner but after 5 1/2 years, it's time to get back for a "park visit"! Yes...the ABC place is still there but this crop isn't from there.

You are correct! I decided to walk back in that corner just to take a couple of pictures before they closed it. There were people waiting OUTSIDE to be seated! One spot we never tried in all our visits!

Saw the first "snake of the season" a few minutes ago! Dang copperhead ; he's been "taken care of" but I will for SURE be "hibernating" inside now! Here's a crop for the weekend:

YEP...VERY venomous! Just glad I didn't get surprised by it IN the garage late at night! David was still available to "take care of it"! I do NOT like having to do that...they scare the you know what out of me! Going to have to get some of my front porch plants elevated tomorrow so I can clear the area a bit more. My caladiums have "gone crazy" this year; they're huge and block half the porch. Hope I can find a couple of spare plant stands in storage!
