Oh goodness

Isn't that ridiculous! Especially since we've had such beautiful "cool" weather all spring. We'll go from lows of 50 to highs of 100 in a couple of days! Last time I checked pool water was at 73; with this heat it will be low 90's by the end of the week! And, naturally, it's "just in time" for David's trip...HE'LL be leaving and I'll get stuck with all the watering of his garden!

Allie and her Dad are visiting the Nevada National Parks; today was Zion National Park. 15,000 steps; highest elevation 12,000 ...I would be DEAD! And then, they get back to their hotel room in Vegas and Allie goes out to RUN HER MILE for the day! The child is CrAzY!

Another from yesterday and today was Death Valley...actually "cooler" there than it was here at home! That's the river the trail they were on went through...with the 43 degree water temperature! No alternative route!
