It’s raining here supposed to rain all day tomorrow. We had a delay for school today. Everything was all icy this morning.

We've had rain delays too this week; I think tomorrow is the first "normal" day they'll have! Ours was from flooded streets/roads though...I think your ice is worse! Hope it's better tomorrow!

crazy weather

Especially for January! Very unusual Pacific weather pattern that moved over us and just kept pulling up moisture from the Gulf with a circular motion. We just happened to be "in the path". On Tuesday when I had my appointments, etc. it rained close to 10 inches in Brenham (I got close on my guess ; told David I thought it had rained at least 8 inches!) and across our area yet the Houston area (a tiny bit to our south east) only received around 3. It was needed to fill the ponds for the hot summer months ahead but oh my goodness everything is such an ugly mess! First the hard freeze the week before and then the rain...THIS is the area in front of our front porch...the plants are MUSH .

On the bright side; we SHOULD have a beautiful spring full of wildflowers!
