It's been a LONG time since I've had a REAL puzzle! Not a picture or a candle; my mother used to call these "dust collectors" (and they ARE hard to dust) . They come in the forms of birds, angels, Dallas Cowboy (or any sports team) figures, holiday related or spring related or fall related...love the ones with pumpkins, pets but, of course, our favorites are Disney related. They serve no purpose other then they're pretty/cute to look at.

It's been "a day" . Foot doctor visit went fine; had 2 1/2 hours before dentist appointment so took my "needed household items" list to Walmart and did the shopping. Checked out and walked to door and OMG it was POURING...the kind of rain that an umbrella and/or raincoat (had both) are useless ! Appointment was in 20 minutes so no choice...off I went; arrived at dentist WET and COLD. An hour and a half later I finished my very painful appointment (long story I won't go into ); walked out and still POURING! Needed to pick up prescriptions and a few groceries...already wet so ran into store, got what I needed and walked to door...STILL POURING! By this time the streets were flooded ... most areas had only 1 lane out of 2 open but headed for home. Maximum speed for the 20 mile drive ... 50 mph but not ONE person tried to pass anyone in the "caravan" of 25-30 cars going toward Bellville! Was really, REALLY glad when I made the turn to our street!

This is "technically" in FW but not close to Connection Cafe.

Goodness you got a lot of rain. We got snow today turning to rain tonight. I’ll have to post some pictures of Maine from last weeks storm. Lots of flooding.

Oh WOW...either rain or snow everywhere! We need the rain but I AM getting tired of bundling Boo in a rain vest, pushing her out the door and then cleaning the mud off her paws when she's done! (She needs a haircut SO bad but with Amanda's issue the past couple of weeks I didn't have the heart to ask her find time to fit Boo in for a trim on top of all the other rescheduling she's had to do!) We've had 9 inches at our house. At least the ponds are filling up! Suppose to be one more round of heavy rain tonight and then sunshine after lunch tomorrow! What a mess for you too...snow and then rain...yuk! Would love to see some pictures; I haven't been out today; Sara said there are a few spots around the area that look like they did during the Hurricane Harvey flooding!
