Well...THAT was intense! We get there 10 minutes before game time and notice the Needville trainer has our #22 on the sidelines. We were one of the first parents there and no one knew what had happened. Eventually EMS was called and we found out her BP and blood pressure was extremely high (same as DD's before she was diagnosed with the flu )...she was taken to the local ER for evaluation. Her parents were not at the game so one of the "regular attendees" rode with her in the ambulance...no report on her condition...

VERY physical game ... BOTH teams spent a lot of time "on the ground" or getting/taking penalty kicks...one of which Redstorm scores on ...

Sure thought the goal keeper had it at this point but .... ... that sucker

went right past her...

Game is tied at half-time until Redstorm takes a pass and kicks it in ... and then this happens ...our best mid-fielder gets sick on the field ...

She goes out for about 10 minutes and Needville ties the game...and it's 2-2 at the end of regulation...time for WATER and a break (girls were drinking so much water they ran out and had to borrow from the boys team who were waiting on the sidelines for their game to start)...

Time for PK's...Redstorm goes first and gets her goal in (making it

a "hat trick" night again ); Needville misses, Ella scores...etc. until final designated player prepares to kick...

... and scores...

Bellville wins...6-3 and retains first place in District.

OMG! We went camping this weekend and I thought I was going to die of heatstroke!

Thanks for the birthday wishes. it was a warm weekend and I was running the Princess Half Marathon Sunday morning. However any weekend in Disney is good. Add in that I was running the half marathon with my daughter again was extra special.

Your brother is SO RIGHT...YOU CAN NOT "UNSEE" THAT PICTURE! You've outdone yourself this year...that costume is PRICELESS! Sounds like the PERFECT birthday weekend...warm or not...any day at Disney is better than the alternative...and running with your daughter is so, SO special! Congratulations on your birthday AND an amazing costume!
