Got to spend the evening with 40 plus ONE of my favorite young people...the BHS soccer teams plus Allie! Fish fry was a 100% success! One young man was heard telling his friend, "how ever much you were going to put on your plate...DOUBLE IT....that food is SO good!" There was volleyball and trampoline time and ping pong and pool and "swings", phone time and a pinata' ....no swimming ...cool front dropped temperatures in the mid-60's but good food and sweet treats. Awesome getting a hug from Allie again; she was notified this week that she was to attend an Awards Ceremony this coming week to accept an award. NO clue what it is so we're anxious for Wednesday evening to arrive! Celebrated one of our girls soccer seniors receiving a ranking of #3 in their graduating class and just enjoyed lots of fun with the kiddos. The lady in the front row center of the group is the Mother of the young man that was killed last August in an auto accident. He was honored this past season with the wearing of #13 on all the boys jersey's.

AND...some really pretty bluebonnets!

I LIED last night when I said "no swimming "! The pool DID "open up" about 11 PM when TREAVOR PUSHED KATIE IN! The boys that were still at the party came running out of the game room yelling....."POOLS OPEN" and hit the water! It's 60 degrees today!

CS is right there with AKL in the "resorts I know least about"! Had to look up names of food services there and pick one out .... going with Toledo since Diane picked Maya Grill.

YEP...and she got in a "short swim" before she decided it was time to go home! SHOULD give David a few extra weeks before she starts bugging him to get our pool ready!

For those of you longing for spring. My HUGE ginger plant is finally coming back "to the living" and the Bottle Brush plant I worked so hard covering before the freeze rewards me with pretty red blooms....as well as my favorite Candy Cane rose! Hang on...the snow will melt and you'll get the pretty blooms too!

Thanks...HOPE your flowers start blooming soon too! Anxious to see Denise's...she always has such a pretty spring garden! Trimmed my azaleas and bridal wreath today...the plants look SO much better! Have just a few more spring yard chores left and then it will be water, water, water. We've actually been put in a "drought area"! Looks like we'll need a HURRICANE to get some rain!
