Got to spend the evening with 40 plus ONE of my favorite young people...the BHS soccer teams plus Allie! Fish fry was a 100% success! One young man was heard telling his friend, "how ever much you were going to put on your plate...DOUBLE IT....that food is SO good!" There was volleyball and trampoline time and ping pong and pool and "swings", phone time and a pinata' ....no swimming ...cool front dropped temperatures in the mid-60's but good food and sweet treats. Awesome getting a hug from Allie again; she was notified this week that she was to attend an Awards Ceremony this coming week to accept an award. NO clue what it is so we're anxious for Wednesday evening to arrive! Celebrated one of our girls soccer seniors receiving a ranking of #3 in their graduating class and just enjoyed lots of fun with the kiddos. The lady in the front row center of the group is the Mother of the young man that was killed last August in an auto accident. He was honored this past season with the wearing of #13 on all the boys jersey's.

AND...some really pretty bluebonnets!

For sure! Keep it on your "list". Some really cute merchandise....like the "onesies" that I REALLY wanted to buy for myself but just couldn't spend $75 on PJ's! It's right up in my Top 5 favorite DS shops!

Those are so cute but I'm with you I have to really really like it to pay 75.00 and probably not on PJ's. The girl in the gift shop was really nice, they had a shirt I wanted but they didn't have my size and she looked up what shops had it in my size. Disneystyle was one and she told us all about it and said it was awesome but POP had it too so we went next door. She even called over to have them hold it.

Looks like a fun evening. I bet Allie was glad to see the team again. Who would have thought fish would be a hit at a party for teenagers. Mine wouldn't touch it. Is that someone's house? Nice pool.

YES...she SO enjoyed spending time with them again....including the boys! She and Cami and MacKenzie had their heads together ALL evening. Parents of one of the boys on the soccer team hosted with S & T; the 4 of them are good friends having served on the Bellville Youth Soccer Assn. together for years. In fact, their son was the young man Allie went to prom with in her Junior year. SUCH a nice family and their place is beautiful! Reminds me of MY childhood home....rolling, green hills and they're covered with bluebonnets this time of the year....and complete with an old fashion WINDMILL!

I told Amy I've been looking for a photo opportunity with a windmill and bluebonnets for YEARS! They did the fish fry thing in 2019 thinking it would be a flop (they'd grilled sausages in addition to the fish just in case) but the kids loved it.....especially the boys. They requested it be an "annual event" for the combined soccer teams. Then, last year, everything got shut down and we were "locked in our homes" at this time so it didn't happen. Amy asked David tonight if he'd please come back next year, even if Katie wasn't on the soccer team, and prepare the fish again! Of course he agreed!
