Good for you Diane! Did she take it to the bank? I wish you could get another job!

She had an attitude but she went. I need a new job soooooooooooo bad. She's giving me my annual review next week, that should be interesting. We were already told don't expect any raises AGAIN because the office is not doing well. Company (other offices) is/are doing fine but our office isn't doing well. Um maybe it's because the person running it doesn't know how to manage an office and when the commercial agent and the manager refuse to do new business because they are too lazy I mean "busy" duh you aren't to going to make money.

So true! My boss at the Bistro would wonder WHY she kept loosing business ; well, when you tell a customer to "please go outside if you're going to be talking on the phone"...WHAT do you expect? And...like you...when it's COLD outside, you don't have the heat on in your place of business (and your employees have to wear coats to keep warm ) or, in the summer, and it's 90 degrees outside and you won't put the AC on until it reaches 92...WHAT do you expect? I know EXACTLY what you mean! Just a few of the reasons I wasn't disappointed when she decided to go out of business .

The "joys" of being an adult, right? You still have to keep the walkways shoveled and driveways cleared and fix the meals and run the household...no "fun time in the snow"!

We'll be out all day tomorrow at volleyball tournaments again. The girls play within 10 minutes of each other so we'll "get" to drive back/forth in the Houston traffic to see both of them play! Redstorm starts at 9 AM and goes until ???; the Princess plays at Noon and 1 PM. Long day ahead but here's one for everyone to think on during the day:

I love snow days. I can cancel my lessons whenever I feel like it. I don't mind shoveling snow. I'd much rather shovel snow than mow my lawn!

I'm so glad your boss had to go out in the snow to deposit $125. Good for you for standing up for yourself. Even if it was a week before your annual review but who cares if there aren't going to be any raises anyway!
