Friends and I went up in the balloon during the post marathon run celebration in DTD Sunday evening.

Sat down and told DH, "Wow...2 pages while I was gone!". Looked at your first AWESOME balloon picture and said, "The JERK went up in the balloon!" Boo hoo...I didn't get a chance in September ! Awesome, awesome pictures; Diane, Denise and Jeff can REALLY see what they're missing! Construction photos show a massive mess but, wow will that be neat when it's finished! Your sunset picture is MY favorite! Good way to celebrate!

What was Pleasure Island in the middle is being torn down and rebuilt. They are also building a multi level parking garage

And Denise I am not sure yet how much they will rebuild on the ends and what goes out into the water. Captain Jacks is gone and looks like they may reuse the concrete piling's.

Yep...BEAUTIFUL day yesterday, wasn't bad today either with a high in low 60's but, as I understand, it's all "downhill" from here. Diane...are you getting any of the snow? DC and NYC look C-O-L-D!

Oh yes, yes, yes...youngest DGD is ALREADY talking about going up again! We were talking about it last Friday on the way home from school. AND...with the possible upcoming bad weather I would not be surprised if HE were ANYWHERE besides here! "Run and Hide" is his motto and it would be hard to find him in a hot air balloon!
