Where everybody knows Bill’s Name *New 4/6 A picture with a DISer & pimping my PTR**

I have really enjoyed reading your trip report! You two seem to have lots of fun. I have always liked Kassie, too. I don't watch the "soaps" anymore, waaaah! But, I remember watching her many years ago. She has fabulous hair! Can't wait to read the rest. I love the picture of the "coke" machine!

I haven't watched Soaps in many, many years and when I did it was never the ones on ABC, but your pictures and everything were very cool. :thumbsup2 It's nice to know that some stars are good people and really appreciate their fans. :goodvibes

Wow Tracy - you named this report correctly! Everybody DOES know Bill! How fabulous! You got some great pictures and some even better memories! What a fun day!

Those drinks look delish! :goodvibes

Ok, all caught up! I LOVE your reports on SSW. I'm going to miss them.:sad2: You get such fabulous pictures. You make me love Kassie more than I already did. What an awesome lady. I love the look on Bill's face! So no Kelly Monoco this year? You meet such great people because you are such great people. Of course you are remembered! Your drink at Captain's looks YUMMY!! What was that? I'm sad it's already almost over. You'll have to make up a report to fill our time til the next one!:)

Hi Tracy. Glad to see you got into a few pics yourself for this SSW (I know what it's like being the picture taker) and I'm so glad you gathered up your courage and asked all of those stars to take pics, it worked out so well for you guys. And the VIP treatment from Kassie, that was worth the trip just for that.

Tell Bill I love those Bahama Mama's too. I discovered them on our DCL cruise last month. They were the drink of the day on Day 1 and came in a souvenir glass. Let's just say our cabin wasn't big enough to hold all of the souvinirs I had that day, lol.

We knew it was about time for Kassie’s session to end, they were walking her back, she spotted us and came right over, she hugged me again telling me how much she appreciated us supporting her. I asked if she had time for a quick picture with Bill, she said “of course”:

WDW11-08694.jpg

Oooh, you got pixie-dusted by Kassie again! She really has the Disney spirit!

You were right when you mentioned in Bill's BD Trip Report that the fans at SWW are very different from the SSW fans! :scratchin

There just seems to be so much more intensity in the crowd. I'm glad you were able to see so many stars without getting yourselves trampled!! :rotfl:

How did you have any energy left for DTD?! I'm worn out just reading about the last 2 days!

Looking forward to reading your final thoughts on the trip....

Kathy

SSW looks like so much fun!! I don't have time for soaps anymore but I recognize some of the actors. They all seem so wonderful! :goodvibes

I can't believe that creepy guy!

They were great, that guy was C R E E P Y!! I had seen him behind her on her way over to the backstage area. I wanted to say "back off buddy".

Another great update - with awsome pictures!!

:( to the ME vouchers!!

Those vouchers bring reality back and when I am at Disney I don't want reality at all :sad1: .

Thanks for reading Carissa, I always worry I will bore people to death with the SSW installments.

It was so funny by the end of the trip we were just waiting for more people to come up to him :rotfl:.

We will miss them too. We really adore her. I think Kelly's time conflicted with Kassies or someone else's I can't remember so he said he wanted to stay put.

I think my drink was a Pina Colava, I got one at the Pop Century pool bar on the last trip so I wanted another one, YUMMY is right :thumbsup2.

Yes it was worth the trip for her. Bill loved your Bahama Mama story :lmao:, he said "maybe we should have kept that cruise booked".

Yes she does. Awww you went back and read the BD TR, how sweet of you! Crazy intense SSW fans. I really couldn't tell you how we had any energy left, maybe the alcohol? :rotfl: .

Mon. Nov. 17th, 2008

I had called the night before and cancelled our character breakfast, so we slept in, imagine that? We decided to go to Epcot again.

Here is Bill getting on the bus, I love it toward the end where he smiles and waves at me, then you see the bus driver wave too:

We were told by more than one bus driver that Disney was getting a new fleet of busses in January 2009 and these older busses that lift the wheelchairs up would be taken out of commission. I don't know if that happened or not?

We strolled around Future World for a bit and then went into the World Showcase. We had never set foot inside the China Pavilion.

WDW11-08749.jpg

We saw a Photopass photographer and took this:

image316.jpg

That picture cracks me up, that green shirt used to be snug on me, it was cold that day, I didn’t want to wear a coat so I have two shirts on under that, no way would I have been able to do that before.

We were hungry and decided to try the Lotus Blossom Café. Bill got Orange Chicken with Steamed Rice:

WDW11-08746.jpg

I got the Sesame Chicken Salad:

WDW11-08747.jpg

The salad was blah, maybe if it would have been a warm chicken salad I would have liked it more. I did get a bite of the Orange Chicken though and it was good.

After we left I took some pictures around the pavilion. Seems I am not the only one that wanted a picture of this bird:

WDW11-08748.jpg

The architecture here is amazing:

WDW11-08750.jpg

WDW11-08751.jpg

We wanted to see Reflections of China and a showing was started soon so we went there:

WDW11-08752.jpg

Picture of the ceiling:

WDW11-08753.jpg

More inside:

WDW11-08760.jpg

WDW11-08762.jpg

After the movie we left because the times guide said Voices of Liberty would performing soon and we were not going to miss that. Can you believe how uncrowded it was that day?:

WDW11-08763.jpg

It was wonderful. Oh look a Christmas tree at the America Pavilion (sorry it is dark):

WDW11-08765.jpg

We were too early for the show and went into the little shop there. David Beckham stuff was everywhere??? Uh isn’t he Brittish? I thought we were in the wrong pavilion for a minute. Then we saw talking action figures of George Bush Sr. and Bill Clinton, that is just too funny for words :lmao: .

After walking into the American Adventure they asked if we would be seeing the show or just watching Voices of Liberty. We opted to just see VOL. We still had a little time so we wandered around, I started taking pictures, I loved the quotes on the walls:

WDW11-08792.jpg

We then went to find a seat for the show around the circle. They have benches so I sat down and Bill pulled up beside me. Then they came out:

WDW11-08808-1.jpg

Here is video of them:

We ducked out and didn’t go into the American Adventure.

Next up...fireworks, someone else spotted Bill, and good food

Mon. Nov. 17th Continued

We wanted to see the acrobats at the China Pavilion so we went back that way. It was so fun doing things we had never done. As we were walking I heard “oh wow”, I looked at Bill and he pointed then I saw this:

WDW11-08811.jpg

They were bringing out the Illuminations fireworks barges. We had never been around when the bridge was up.

WDW11-08812.jpg

Next came the globe:

WDW11-08816.jpg

It was really something to see!!

On to China!

WDW11-08819.jpg

WDW11-08822.jpg

It was cute little show, nothing spectacular, but nice.

Next we went to MouseGears. We browsed for a bit then left the park catching the monorail. As we stood there waiting we talked to a really nice couple. The monorail came quickly and before we knew it we were at the TTC.

While we were standing there waiting I spotted Robin’s aka delswife of “Love you, Mean it” fame (she used to have great TR’s on the DIS) husband Del. He was on another platform. I knew by reading her blog that he had recently started working with the monorails. I even asked the CM by us if that was him. Then he went to ask another CM, I said “no please don’t do that, he doesn’t know me, I am not a stalker”. He just laughed.

We got on the monorail and went to the Grand Floridian. It was my first time stepping inside there. Wow it is beautiful, too stuffy for me, but lovely. We saw this:

WDW11-08828.jpg

Oh goodness, it was the first day the Gingerbread House was open!!

WDW11-08830.jpg

WDW11-08832.jpg

Here is the window you go up to so you can buy something:

WDW11-08834.jpg

The details were amazing. As I was looking at the cookies, shingles, etc. I hear those now famous words:

ARE YOU BILL??

I turned around and there was a lovely lady standing by Bill smiling. Come to find out it was Mousekmaddi from the DIS. We chatted for a bit, she was so nice. She asked if it was ok to get her mom to show her that her computer friends were real
lol.gif
. I quickly made a purchase:

034.jpg

She came back with her mom that was as sweet as she was. Come to find out their last name is Bill’s last name, even spelled the same way.

Sing it with me – It’s a Small World after all, it’s a Small World after all, it’s a small world after all, it’s a small, small world (yes, your are very welcome for me sticking that in your head the rest of the day
Dziekuje.gif
).

Her mom took a picture of us together by the Gingerbread House. They were so nice, Bill said later it was fun to have people to talk to like that. It was time to say goodbye and we went looking for Narcoossee’s.

A dark picture on the way to the restaurant:

WDW11-08835.jpg

We were early for our ADR, but they seated us, there were many empty tables. We were seated and could see the Castle, although Bill couldn’t see as well from his position as I could so we maneuvered around until he could have a great view. We both got the Surf and Turf. Since Bill has Cerebral Palsy and his right arm/hand don’t obey him I cut up his food for him.

Here we were in this fancy restaurant, I am cutting the food and two pieces of steak go flying off the plate and onto the floor. Have I mentioned that the lights are dim in there, creating a great ambiance, but making it way too dark to find the steak, on the floor, in this fancy restaurant where I am mortified because I can’t find it? Well now I have and I am freaking out because I can’t find them, then Bill starts laughing at me, he is amused by me every day. I have a purpose in life, isn’t that great?

Here is the Surf and Turf:

WDW11-08840.jpg

Bill said to just forget about it until we left, they were probably under the wheelchair, he was right btw. Although I would sneak peeks on the floor from time to time willing them to magically come into view, we are in WDW right? If something was to magically happen I had a shot of it happening here, (btw it didn’t happen). As we were eating Wishes started, people started going outside and I didn’t think Bill would be able to see anything. I was about to go outside and ask the people if they could move a little to the right so Bill could still see. I was really chilly that night and Bill would not have been comfortable out there. Other people figured out how cold it was and came back it so we could see it from our table. It was lovely to be with the man I adore, watching the fireworks show we love, and reflecting on the fantastic trip we had been on, the only damper?? The darn steak on the floor!!

To end the evening we ordered Almond Crusted Cheesecake:

WDW11-08841.jpg

OMG we thought it was wonderful. Bill said can we make an ADR just to order the cheesecake?? All too soon it was time to leave the restaurant. We really didn’t want to go. I moved the chair so he could get out and what did I see? What was right there hiding under his wheelchair, the steak. Where is Ace when you need him?

I would say sleeping like he always is, but back to the trip report.

Walking back to the monorail, I saw this in one of the GF shop windows:

WDW11-08842.jpg

It made me smile because it reminded me of many of our Enchanted doxy loving members. We had decided to go to Magic Kingdom to turn our MVMCP tickets into one day regular tickets. Guest Relations informed us that they were automatically turned into one day tickets the night of the rain out. We decided to look around Magic Kingdom one last time.

Every Disney trip we have a couple of traditions, one being Bill has to get fudge on the last night we are at MK. We got the fudge and decided to look through the shops. I enjoy looking at all the glass figurines and such.

Does anyone want to start a fund for me to get this??

WDW11-08847.jpg

I can even have Bill set me up a website and accept all major credit cards and PayPal like the Octomom. Any takers? Anyone? Anyone?

Ok, I will quit begging for something I desperately need (WANT) and continue. We knew it was time to go so we walked toward the front of the park. Bill wanted to tell Goofy goodbye:

WDW11-08857.jpg

We saw a Photopass photographer and got in line. It was our turn and another PP was there, they were talking and he didn’t even seem interested in taking the pictures. One thing I learned this trip. I will tell every PP to take many pictures because it takes a little bit for Bill’s eyes to get adjusted to the flash. Here is the one and only picture he took:

image318.jpg

Not a bad picture right? But it would be a great picture if I could photoshop Bill’s eyes open. We left, got back to Pop, I packed up the room and we were in bed by midnight.

Next installment...I got some pixie dust, Bill got an award

(lurkers, this one is almost over, why don't you come out of hiding and say hello to the group, introduce yourselves and talk a spell?)

I'm sorry your trip is winding down...

That's so cool that you saw the bridge go up for the Illuminations barges!!

Tracy, you are a GREAT TR writer. I find myself so engaged when I'm reading. The presentation of the food at Lotus Blossom looked good. I have never been, maybe I will try it out next time. The pictures of EPCOT with such little traffic are awesome. I loved you GF pics too. That is my favorite resort, I just love the "feel" of it. Your meal looked great (even if steak was on the floor :rotfl: )
For the record, I would have been looking all over for it too! What a magical moment you had watching fireworks with the one you :lovestruc
I must say that picture of you two at the MK with the snowpeople is just spectaculor!
I'm sad it's almost over. I will be looking forward to the next one tho ;)

Aaah!! How did I not see this report before? I am marking my spot to come back and read later. Can't wait to read another or your great reports Tracy!:goodvibes

Hi Tracy! Disney needs to consult us on who they should lay off. I'm sure between all of us we could come up with a list of CM's that are lacking in the Disney magic. That really stinks he only took one picture. With that said, it really is a good picture/view. With Bill's glasses it kind of reflects and it's harder to tell that his eyes are closed. What time do they bring out the floats at Epcot. You really lucked out. You were cracking me up picturing you crawling around the floor looking for steak at Narcoossee's!:rotfl: I'm so sad it's almost over.:sad1:

Great updates Tracy! I was totally laughing out loud picturing you trying to find the steak! :rotfl: Too funny!

Your last day sounds fabulous - I love the video of VOL - made me smile! I agree about the GF - I can't picture myself staying there. Maybe I just say that because I know I won't ever be able to afford to stay there, IDK? :confused3

What a magical moment for you and Bill to watch the fireworks at dinner - ahhhh :cloud9:

I think that last picture of you and Bill is very good - like Monica said, you can't really tell his eyes are closed due to the reflection.

Loved the updates! :goodvibes

Hey....Are you talkin to me? :rotfl:

Tracy,

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE your reports! I always look for yours! I think yours are so wonderful, in part, because not only do you entertain us with Disney tips, tricks, and escapades, but you allow your reader to go a little deeper.......to really "know" you and Bill. Your likes, dislikes, hopes, dreams, setbacks, and triumphs. It is no wonder people feel so comfortable approaching you two.

Thanks for the smiles! :goodvibes

Kimmy, thank you so much for saying that. Sometimes I think I am boring people to death, but I enjoy reliving the magic ;). I am sad it is almost over too, but our last day was something as you will soon see.

Aaah!! How did I not see this report before? I am marking my spot to come back and read later. Can't wait to read another or your great reports Tracy!:goodvibes

Hi Monica!! Yes they do need to make us full time consultants!! According to my stats on the picture it said: 3:58pm on the first pic, but I do believe my camera is set on Central time, I will check it for you when I find it :rotfl: .

I am sad too :sad1: .

Hey....Are you talkin to me? :rotfl:

Hi and Welcome Shan!! So sorry for bullying you into coming out :rotfl2:. I just see all the views and they don't match the replies so I was calling all of you out :lmao:.

Thank you so much for the kind words, I know I tend to bable on and probably say more than I should about us at times, but that is me, what you see is what you get. Thanks again for reading.

Hi Tracy. Another great intallment. I love GF, my favorite resort, it was where my husband and I stayed on our first trip together so it has special memories for me. And my son got engaged on the balcony there last month so it will forever have added meaning now. I'll never be able to eat a Narcoosees again without thinking about you guys and the wandering steak. :rotfl:

Your crowd free day at Epcot looks amazing. It certainly didn't look like that in January. And thanks for the warning on the sesame chicken salad as that is exactly what I would order there; now I'll know better.

Sorry your trip (and report) is winding down. It's always a joy to read about your adventures.

Tracy, you are a GREAT TR writer.

:snooty: I knew it all along.....

Tracy, when you started telling us about the fallen steak, I swear I was thinking the same thing, "Where's Ace when you need him?" :rotfl:

I don't know why, but we've never been inside the China Pavillion, either? :confused3 Well, on one trip it was being refurbed, but I have no excuse not to see it next time! So beautiful!

Isn't it fun doing new things? It kind of justifies the need for more trips, no?
