Where does Soarin let out?

Do you come off the ride close to where you go in? Or do you come off outside?

The exit is on the right side of the entrance. You come out to a departure/arrival terminal which makes it kind of crowded in there at times.

You come back out to about where you started. There is a little lobby area that you could meet up with your party.
