Where does rope drop hold you at Epcot?

I have never done Epcot from the main entrance, only from the international gateway and only when staying onsite.

Next month I am going with my daughter and we aren’t staying onsite so will need to wait for the 9am rope drop. First ride is hopefully frozen. Where will we be held?

When I was there December of 2023 (and stayed offsite), we were held just in front of Spaceship Earth.

I was just there Sunday (3-30). Non-early entry we were allowed in & lined up in the walkway area to the left of Spaceship Earth (next to Guest Relations inside the park). I saw a few people waiting in line for Spaceship Earth when we walked by. Previously they held you back by the fountain in front of Spaceship Earth last time I did a rope drop.

We were starting with Guardians so I wasn't paying attention if there was a holding group to the right of Spaceship Earth that would be for attractions on that side of the park OR if we were all just held up in the same spot & branched off after "rope drop" at 9am.

Don't know for sure now, but years ago when I was there for rope drop, it was on the right side of SSE.
