Where do you print your Digital books?

I asked this before but it was buried in another post, so I thought I would try again. I am looking for a place to print my digital book once it's complete. I am scrapping 12 x 12 right now but haven't found a place with a book that size. Do you resize your layouts to fit? I found one place (can't remember where, i would have to google for it again) that has 12 x 13 but that is the closest I have found. Wondering what everyone else does and what you guys recommend?

Heritage Makers has a 12 x 12 book. I tend to use a Creative Memories album, get my LOs printed at Mpix in 12 x 12 format, and then slap each giant "picture" on a page with a page protector. I like that album look for my scrapping over photo books unless I'm doing a completely coordinated album/photobook.

Yes, that's exactly what I do too! Get my 12x12 pages printed, then attach them to a page, slip a page protector over, and oila! DONE! But I have to wonder if I'm paying too much on both sides - I'm paying for my pages to be printed and then I'm still paying for my CM books, pages, and page protectors (which are EXPENSIVE). Which as you know, when you digi-scrap, I think you tend to scrap a whole lot faster so the pages add up real fast.

I'm curious to know any other ways of doing this. I've been thinking of not printing at all and just putting my layouts up online somewhere - perhaps create a website for that purpose.

Any other suggestions?

Yes, it can be expensive to go the whole "print out the layout and add it to an album", but I figure it's very photo safe to print this way (since it's basically a giant photo going in an album that's been through lots of testing), and it has more of a look of a traditional album as opposed to a photo book.

One way to save money would be to shrink your layouts to 8 x 8 (or 7 x 7, if you want to do the 7 x 7 CM albums). Prints would be less expensive, and so would albums & accessories. You can even do the prints at home since all good quality photo printers can do 8 x 10s.

I guess that's a good reminder to look for the phrase "full bleed" if you want an edge to edge print. I know the HM books are full bleed.

I used Shutterfly recently to create a bound book of my digital layouts. I created the layouts as 12x12, but resized to 8x8 to print. Shutterfly has templates you can download and use to resize so that you know you're sizing them right. I shared my experience on my blog. I messed up the cover and spine a bit, but I know what I'll do right when I do my Disney album now.

Next time I'll do my cover more like she did hers with the full bleed cover. My inside pages were fine, I just rushed through the cover/spine section and it shows.
