Where can I safely store my laptop at the Swan?

I'll be taking my laptop along for downloading pics from my digital camera and to take advantage of the free high-speed internet access. Are the in-room safes (assuming that there is one) large enough to accomodate a standard size laptop computer?

The safe is in the wall in the closet - I do not think it is large enough for a laptop.

I always take my laptop with me, I set it up on the desk when I get there and never pack it away until it is time to leave.

There has never been a problem...

Get a cable lock from Best Buy. That's what I use. It is a cable with a combination lock. There's a loop on one end, you loop it around something solid (like a bedpost) and then the lock end goes through the loop. There should be a lock slot on the side of your laptop to connect it to. Everyone says they've never had a problem, but I don't want to be the one who does. Too many workers have pass keys into rooms.

I always just lock it away in my luggage. Its out of site and they would either have to steal the bag or slash it open to take the laptop, and not knowing what was inside its highly unlikely they would go to that trouble.

The wall safes are just a little bigger than a # 10 size envelope - big enough for tickets - extra money jewelry - but not much else
