A friend is asking how long the FP wait times are in May. Any info. will be appreciated.

They should not be bad, though it does depend on -when- exactly in may you are going, the Star Wars weekend can get quite busy, the first couple weeks of May are quite slow.

What do you mean by FP wait times? The wait to use a FP that you already hold or the wait in line at a kiosk to get a FP.

Also, do you have specific dates in mind? As the PP said, May has things like Star Wars weekends at DHS and Memorial Day weekend, but some less busy times early in the month.

You might want to check the May crowd calendar on the easywdw site to get an idea of overall crowd levels and recommendations on which parks to visit which days.

Umm, not quite sure what you are asking here. :confused3

With a FP, you go to the attraction anytime during the FP window. From there its just a matter of walking through the line to the point where they merge with the standby line. From there its usually only 10-15 minutes (perhaps less) before you actually get on the attraction. If the system works correctly it shouldn't matter what month or how crowded the parks are.

FP is set up so you should usually have a 10-15 minute wait in line to actually ride the ride or enter an attraction. It could possibly be longer if there are ride stoppages.

We were there for last year's SWW and with FPs we waited less than 10 minutes to ride ToT and Star Tours.

I thought you could check live wait times for stand-by and FP somewhere?

You can see live wait times with a website like this provided by one of our very own DIS'ers:

www.disneywaittimes.com

Just remember that "Actual" wait times include both measured SB and FP, since it doesn't distinguish between the two (that little red card they hand to guests when they enter the SB or FP line? That's where the measurement comes from).

So if you see a SB wait time of, say, 60 but an "actual" of 12, the 12 is most likely the last FP queue sample.
