Where Are Your Favorite Places To Dine, And To Snack At Dl. And At DCA?

We ate at Wine Country Trattoria on our last trip and were pleasantly surprised. Family of 4 with desserts and one drinking wine came to $75 with tip which is not bad for a Disney sitdown. Plus, we all really liked our food. I had the lasagna rustica, my dh had the caprese sandwich and our kids had pastas. It will definitely be added to our list of must dines when we go again.

I'd have to say that my favorite meal is the clam chowder in the bowls in New Orleans. But I CAN'T REMEMBER WHAT RESTAURANT IT IS!

And when DH and I went for our honeymoon (hah i typed moneymoon..i wish) we skipped most meals and ate churros for every meal. Oh..yes, i'm sure I gained tons. I do NOT even care (Ok I care NOW).

So a HUGE vote for Churros. DH has a huge vote for the chocobananas. (Hate nanas here..) And of COURSE the mickeymouse ice cream. Yum.

I think we got a frozen lemonadey type thing in Fantasyland once? Dunno where. It's been so long since we've been!

I tried several times to post the url for the image of that counter service and no matter what I had tried, forget it, the image just will not show up, so if anyone knows why, please let me know, that was driving my nuts!

Yes, DangerMouse, that was the picture that I had attempted several times to post, as well as another one. I still have no idea why I have nothing but a problem with this now, it use to be a very easy thing to do, paste the complete url into that image box, then post it.
Please tell me what you did, so you could post the same image, I was taking the url from the mouse for less site.
So I don't go insane over this, someone let me know.
Where is a moderator when you are about to go bonkers?

o.k. at this time, your url works for me, but I wonder if it will stay there? asking that, because a few days ago, I had posted a couple of small images for a movie thread here, and they showed fine, until the next day, then just a tiny box with a red x in the corner, and if you clcked on show picture, it would not.

OMG, so much for my trying my url again, I give up, really seriously! the only difference that I can see, is that my url is in gif format, and the other is in jpeg, but should that make a difference in posting?

Gisele, I don't know why it's not showing for you, but the RSV image you posted at 12:46 shows up for me.

BUT if you're pulling it straight off another website, without saving it to your computer then putting it on photobucket or shutterfly, that tends to anger websites, and they tend to go and change the lines, which might be why there's an x on another post like you mentioned.


Not sure why mouseforless is using "vegetable", but on the menu it's "vegetarian gumbo". Big difference! One that was worth my calling the chefs at Disneyland and chatting with them! Vegetarian gumbo.



OP, Vegetarian Chili at Pacific Wharf Cafe in DCA is also a fave of mine. Don't go at a proper mealtime, though, it gets packed.

Yeah, you need to save pics to your computer and host it otherwise it's 'stealing' bandwidth and those places that host the pic have to pay for it. So like..you could right click, save as whatever..then upload it yourself to photobucket.
