Does anyone have black faucets?

If so, are you happy with them? We're buying new faucets in our kitchen and although we've always had brushed nickel, these looked interesting. My main concern is with water spots, showing dirt. I remember when we changed our granite, people said to avoid black granite because it showed everything. When I went to the website just now, they also showed a spot-resistant stainless. If that works, that might be an option.

We do and the hard water calcifies on them pretty badly. And hard to get off. Also they tend to break easy...maybe it is just the brand we have. But they look nice. Though I wouldn't get them again. The bronze in one of our other houses was the same. They both just seem thinner and loosen and break easier than the soild nickle or silver.

Nope, but I do have a black kitchen sink. It is some kind of composite. Very easy to take care of and does not scratch like stainless.

We have one in the powder room and the water does calify badly.

Relatives just redid a bathroom and wanted the black faucets to be something different. They haven't indicated any issues with them thus far. I tend to think you want the faucets to be consistent with what you have in the rest of the house. A very modern looking bathroom might look out of place compared to everything else you currently have.

We do and we had very hard water (finally were able to get a water softener). The water spots are pretty bad and I haven't been able to get them all the way off. Our bathtub faucet now has black flakes coming out if it, so the inside is coming apart.

Had every faucet finish and by far chrome is the best.

The only time I have seen black faucets is in a restaurant bathroom.

It is a single seater with very low lighting, a black sink, black faucets, black toilet, black wallpaper, etc.

It is always a little disorienting going in that bathroom.
