Where are the updated December Hours?!

I just wish they would go on and make the change already! I'm not after any ADR but I would love to move a FP to earlier and to do that I'm going to need to do it as soon as they change. I do know early is not a good time to use a FP but it's just the 1 and it will help out the rest of the day if I can get it moved.

I'm waiting for the exact same reason! Just come on already, Disney!

We just booked a very last minute 2-night trip for December (I'm still sort of in disbelief that it's happening, lol ) and I have my fingers crossed that they might extend the Magic Kingdom hours on the evening of Saturday the 12th. Not sure if that's even a possibility but that little bit of extra time would be huge for us with such a short trip.

You have a 7:15am for CP ? The only breakfasts that start that early are in the resorts. Unless it is something completely new they have never opened at 7 am, and we go every year at Christmas. MK will typically open for EMH every morning at 7am Christmas week and the week after. I do see that they have the hours listed as 7am. Curious as I have not seen anyone else post that they got a 7am. If it does hold up, they park will most likely be open for EMH.

Edited to add: It is so funny that they have CP posted opening early but cannot post the park hours for December. CP is listed for breakfast at 7am from Dec 20th thru Dec. 31st, so my guess is that will be the EMH 7am entries as well.

Same here! We have a 8:15 ADR for BOG my sister was hoping to get an early mine train ride after breakfast (couldn't get fast passes for it), we'll see!

Sorry, I just saw your August thread about the time change. As others posted I have never seen CP open at 7am and we have gone every year Christmas week to NYE for the last 10 plus years. The resorts always have breakfasts that start at 7am though. I am sure they did it to manage crowds, but I am almost 99.9% sure that all those days will turn in to 7am EMH. We go to MK at 7am most every day as its empty that early. We even have empty park photos on NYE at 7am.

If you decide you don't want to go if the park is open, I would try to change to a late breakfast. We make a 10:30ish reservation as we are ready to eat after touring for 3 plus hours and we generally eat and do a few non busy things and leave.

Yep, all very weird. I called Disney about it just because I was so confused (I've never seen a 7 am opening either). The cast member I spoke to was just as confused as I was. I'm totally assuming that there will be 7 am EMH like usual, just don't want to cancel it until I know for sure!

And yeah, we actually have reservations at BOG for a late breakfast as well on the same morning assuming CP will be out.

Does Disney also ever change the times of fireworks and parades for the last 2 weeks of December in conjunction with extending hours? I have an ADR for California Grill on 12/21 at 9:30PM and holding out a sliver of hope fireworks will be pushed back from their current 8pm start.

I didn't feel like they were necessary, but it sure did make our morning MK touring nice!

I'll be annoyed if the time is bumped earlier (even though it likely will be), because we'll have to drop our BOG breakfast too, just not worth falling behind the crowds. I wonder if a lot of people drop their ADRs when hours change. Getting up at 6:00AM to be at rope drop is not my idea of vacation, but we only have one morning scheduled for MK so it shouldn't be too bad.

We have a 7:25am ADR at CP on 12/20 as well, and am hoping it will only be moved to 8 am with no EMH(but realistic that it may very well happen). We had one the Friday after Thanksgiving 2011 and were fine, but the same day in 2013 they moved the hrs., so no PPO, but it's a must-do for us, and we were there the day before as well, so we kept it. If they move them, we will try to get late brft instead, but if not will arrive early and enjoy our puffy French toast and bouncing with Tigger before our park time - it will still be lighter crowds than later!
