When your favorite products are discontinued.....

Doesn't it just make you crazy?

I probably sound like a loon, but here goes my rant....a few months ago, I found out that a product my DH and I love called Wyler's Soup Starter/Beef Stew has been discontinued. That stuff was awesome!!! I sent a few emails to Heinz, who owns Wyler's, but naturally got no reply.

Now I just found out that the only eye makeup remover that doesn't burn my eyes - Suave Water Rinseable Cold Cream - has been discontinued.

It makes me crazy . I hate it when you find a product that you love, and they discontinue it!!!

For me it's been big things like my dining room set and my dish pattern! Very frustrating when you want to add to it!!

Sorry to hear, it does stink when things are discontinued!

My favorite perfume was discontinued years ago, but luckily I can still find a few on Ebay. I stocked up on it and most likely won't have to buy any for awhile now.

The Cold Cream you might be able to find on ebay.

Revlon is discontinuing my foundation. Before that is was my color of blush. Before that was my color of lipstick. Do I just gravitate toward the unpopular colors or what?

I'm going through the same thing with L'Oreal's Anti-Frizz gel. They've come out with all these new products and apparently discontinued this one (or at least the stores aren't stocking it anymore.) I've been running all over town buying it up.

I dread this summer.

There is a particular color of lipstick that I really liked-- wore it almost everyday. It was discontinued. Then found another one that I liked and yes, it ended up being discontinued too.

Really makes me mad.

There are many things at the grocery store which DH and I love that have been discontinued, and it drives us batty! I think we are magnets for items that will soon be discontinued.

There was a certain brand of frozen meals that was really good (and surprisingly cheap) which got discontinued. After trying many brands and flavors of salsa, we found one that we loved (and our house guests raved about) which for some dumb reason got pulled off the shelves. Several years back there was a type of Rold Gold thin pretzel that had such a unique taste...it was slightly sweet and I hadn't tasted anything like it. Sure enough, they stopped carrying it. WHY DO THEY DO THAT??

Oh, if they stop making Double Fudge Yoohoo, I think we will DIE! Once you've had one, there's no going back to the original!

It's awful when it happens. It seems like everything I like, gets discontinued.

Hair products, pants, bras, socks, food...

I just try not to get too attached anymore.

My favorite Neutrogena moisturizer hasn't been discontinuted, but they added Alpha-hydroxy and it burns my face. I am sad.

I used to wear those too! I was so bummed when I couldn't find them but I did finally find a similar, good replacement!

It's getting to be a joke with Bath and Body, it happens to me there so often! It seems that whenever I like a fragrance it gets discontinued. I'm still not over my disappointment about Tangerine Spice.

I agree. They used to have awesome Christmas scents. They discontinued all of the good ones. They also discontinued the apple hand cream that my mom loved, I think it was Country Apple. If they don't discontinue them, it seems they change them. I've always used Cotton Blossom & they must be doing something different with it. I still like it, but it does not smell the way it used to. There's something different about it.
