What do you call that thingy that rolls around you put groceries in?

I'm Texas born and bred and NEVER heard it called a buggy - let alone a "buggay"! :rotfl: I think there was something wrong with that guy...

Okay. I'm going to throw another one out there. Anyone ever call it a wagon? I mostly call it a cart, but occasionally I call it a wagon.

I have infrequently heard it called a buggy by old people, but not in a long time. In fact, they'd all be dead now. Saying, "I've heard it called that by dead people" wouldn't sound right, though.

We've always said buggy.
 
Trolley is the word used here in the UK.

Basket. I don't know a single soul from around here that calls it anything else.
 
wow...I can't believe how few say buggy.. Most here must be up north or out west...LOL
I grew up in Ca..and always said shopping cart, but now that I've been in Ga 15 years...its a BUGGY :)

and a purse is a pocketbook..
and nylons are pantyhose
and you dont start the car, you crank it
and you don't turn off the tv, you cut it off

and all tea has to be sweet. Its the rules :)
 
I voted cart, but we also call it a carriage...
 
Im originally from PA so I call it a cart sometimes and sometimes buggy I guess it depends on the mood...
