Altough my Grandmother from the UK called it a Food Buggy. She called everything with wheels some type of Buggy.

Their car was a "Grandpas Buggy"
My Red Wagon was a "Toy Buggy"
Her Vacum was a "Sucker Buggy"!

My answer isn't there - I've always called it a basket.

DH calls it a cart but since he doesn't do the shopping, he doesn't get to answer =)

Here in Australia it is called a trolley - and when I'm in the US I have to remember to call it a cart - or I get some strange looks!!!

If you are from the South like me then it is a BUGGY and as a PP mentioned any type of soda is a "coke".

I'm born and raised in the south.
It is a cart and the brand Coca-cola is Coke. Anything else is soda.
