I have infrequently heard it called a buggy by old people, but not in a long time. In fact, they'd all be dead now. Saying, "I've heard it called that by dead people" wouldn't sound right, though.

wow...I can't believe how few say buggy.. Most here must be up north or out west...LOL
I grew up in Ca..and always said shopping cart, but now that I've been in Ga 15 years...its a BUGGY
and a purse is a pocketbook..
and nylons are pantyhose
