When you fly

Before we had DS, I tended to stay in my seat when flying. HOWEVER..after our last flight with him, I made every excuse to get out of my seat.:lmao: DH HAS to have the aisle seat (long legs) so I got to sit next to DS who talked nonstop the entire flight.:lmao:

"Mama what's that?"
"Mama what's down there?"
"Mama can I has that book?"
"Mama whatchoo doin?"
"Mama can I dwink yer dwink?"
"Mama can I has some snack?"
"Mama..Mama..MAMA.."
:faint::rotfl2:

I've heard that Benedryl does wonders for that problem.

KIDDING!!!! I'm joking. ;)

:rotfl:
Oh lord..I asked about that once, when we took DS on a flight and you wouldn't BELIEVE how many people ranted and raved and got frothing mad because all I did was ask. :scared1:

I like the aisle. I do not like to get up and browse around. I sometimes have to sit in the middle of the kids to prevent fighting if I am flying without my husband.

Don't you hate it when you fall asleep in your aisle seat and somebody walks by and WHACKS you with their bag (or fist, or other body part)?

i take center seat but prefer window. i stay put with my seatbelt fastened. i like to read magazines or window shop the Skymall. if i am next to someone that wants to chat, i shut my eyes and pretend that i am sleeping. :)

Oh, I would believe it. There are many DIS parents who are the epitome of selfless propriety. And they like to remind you of it.

I usually start describing my toenail fungus infection. That seems to kill the conversation. ;)

I was flying to Europe every month for work the last few years. For a flight that long you have to get up and walk around, so I would prefer an aisle seat. KLM had the best entertainment system I have seen on a plane, close to a hundred movies to choose from, but I would usually go the music selection they have.

There was always a reserved seat, so I was always one of the last passemgers on board. Why sit in a cramped plane when you can sit in the lounge? And that gives you the chance to see the fullness of the flight so many times I would sit somewhere else and have an empty seat next to me. Unfortunatly the company is only paying coach fare, so an empty seat gives more room to stretch out and sleep.

Before DS I would prefer a window seat but usually sat in the middle because DH needs the aisle seat. I would read, have tomato juice and listen to music. DH usually fell asleep.

DS was a lap baby until the last time we flew so I was occupied with him. Last time we flew it was just and I and DS had his own seat with his car seat in it. He was in the window and I was in the aisle. We were on JetBlue so we had the tvs!!! He napped for about 1/2 the flight.

I usually have the middle seat, 3 yr old dd will be at the window and 7 yr old dd will be on the aisle, then behind us is DH and DS. This trip my will be our 4th trip as a family to the world. I STILL HATE TO FLY!!!!!!!!!
