When will Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit Open?

Theme Park Insider posted pictures of track coming out of the station and curving upwards onto the lift. There is also a picture of the top portion of the ride being transported on the back of a trailer - presumably being moved from the straging area to the construction site.

Exciting!

That picture on Theme park insider is of the drop portion, not the lift hill. This is why I'm concerned cause that's been up for a while, they were on a roll with construction and with basically just the lift hill and top part of the drop to go and then construction just stops,it's been like that for so long now that I don't know about that late spring/early summer opening,we're almost there now and they need to finish building the actual coaster, finish up the station, testing which can go for up to a month,I honestly can't see this opening until at least mid July.

Skipper Garrett (one of the team members) posted some pictures here of new construction on the lift:

More posts have been added to the thread now suggesting that the lift hill is almost complete.....I'm praying it will be open before we come home on 06/11.:)

Yeah, I just read that. SkipperGarrett said that there were only 2 more pieces to go for the lift. He said he'd post more pictures later.

Thats awsome and still have my finges crossed for my trip at the end of June :thumbsup2

:scared1::scared1: Yeah I`m one of them!!! Feeling very nervous

Its going to be like Mystery mine at Dollywood but LESS freaky becuase it isnt as themed (roick grinders, lightnin, crows etc.) but it will still be cool!

Looks like most of the track is finnished. screamscape says so. MAYBE just MAYBE if they can begin testing within the next week it may just open the first or second week of june which means I may still get to ride it afterall!

I hope it's open within the next two months but remember...there is still A LOT of work to be done. The trains haven't arrived and there's the electronic stuff and the landscaping...not to mention weeks of testing.

Well I still got my fingers crossed. If they book they could possibly have it done.

The electronics shouldnt take more than 2 days to install if they work hard on them adn everything is right..

OH MAN!!! :goodvibes Seems like they're flying now! At this rate, it should be ready to open by early/mid July. I cant wait to ride this beast. HA! Im sure the lines are going to be 250+ minutes for this thing. Which, is not entirely bad. That means all the other rides will have less wait! :cool1:

Cant wait to ride this sucker listening to 'Classic Rock'
