I tried to search but there are a lot of CP threads out there!

We have the CP package @ 5p for Sunday for the 815 show... wondering when the best time to head to the line would be? I am not too stressed about seats - I have a little one so would prefer the back so that I can move if she gets antsy.

TIA!

Be at the line on the LEFT side of the theater (toward Japan) by about 7:30PM.

Earlier can be better, BTW, but not later.

I did the 815 show on Saturday of Thanksgiving weekend and 730 was way late. We did get okay seats but had a tree in our way so had to peer around that. The line up had to have started at 7 for it to be that long by 725.

Always appreciate your help, Robo! Directions are good because I know we'll be confused.

Thanks for posting this! I'm thinking of shooting for 7 but wanted to double check!

OP - hope you don't mind me piggybacking on your thread since this won't be relevant to your question, but I think that's been answered. I just wanted to offer our experience in a CP thread that might be of interest to others with questions.

Went last night (Thursday 12/18) to the 3rd seating. We fully expected to sit in the garden area behind the theater and that was fine with us.

At 7:30, there were 40 people in the SB queue. Got in line at 7:50 behind about 150 others. Seated in great seats by 8:05, center, a couple rows behind the roped off section.

I'm not suggesting this will be the case any other night between now and the end of the month, but this continues our streak of having no problem getting seats.

The last 75 to 100 package guests who got in after 8:00 ended up in not so great seats on the far right of the theater.

The only problems were the four hens behind us who wouldn't shut up talking about anything but Christmas, and the family two rows in front who spent 20 minutes in the middle of the program Skyping with family back home.

We were seated at Chef de France at 4:50 on the CP package and got on line about 6:45 for the 8:15 show and there were about 15 people ahead of us! WOW! Yes, when you are facing the theatre in front of you, get on the line to the LEFT! We were there Dec.9th..The day at Epcot was sunny and about 69 degrees but as soon as it got dark it was FREEZING!!! WOW! We were at Epcot most of the day and we didn't return to change...Wore capris "not thinking", only had 1 sweatshirt and we FROZE! Bring an extra sweatshirt or sweater "JUST IN CASE"! Don't be fooled as we were with the nice sunny weather during the day!
WOW, WHAT A SHOW!:cool1::) Our narrator was Levar Burton! So good!:thumbsup2 LOVED THE SHOW! We had GREAT SEATS dead center , front row of second section. Loved Levar's words at the end about "family and appreciating family during the Holiday Season"! :thumbsup2
ENJOY; I am certain you will love it!
Chef de France was AWESOME; We had a great time; 6 adults!:santa:
