My family is debating between the following times to visit WDW. We understand crowds will be high, but these are our only options.

Dec 30 - Jan 5 2022 (~5 days in parks)
Feb 22 - 26 2022 (~ 3 days in parks)

The room rates are actually cheaper for the dec/jan dates and we would get more time. However, February has potentially lower crowds? (probably not at this point) and the Festival of the Arts is on which I would love to see. Other thing about my February dates is that they are right after President's Day (21st) and the Princess Half Marathon weekend is the 24-27th...

i know it's never "slow' anymore but i'd roll the dice on february vs going around new years

I'd go with the February dates because it's mid-week, so less kids are out of school. The week of New Year's is super busy!

That's a tough one. I think lower room rates and more park time would make me go for the December option, although I think it will be very, very crowded straight through, especially with many people having Monday the 3rd off as well.

For what's it's worth, that week in February is a school vacation week for northeast states such as Massachusetts and New York.

Depend on what your group is like and what you want to do.

My wife and I love going in January through February and the Arts fest is our favorite festival of the year.

She gets nervous in big crowds so there is no way we could go over New Years with how crazy busy it gets...
