Our next trip to WDW will be in September, and we would like to do the Keys to the Kingdom Tour. Since it is seven months until our trip, when is the earliest that we can book the tour? Thanks in advance for the info.

I can't answer your question so I'll bump this back to page one for you :)

This was a great tour, I took it last year at this time. I'm pretty sure it is 90 days out. But just to be sure they haven't changed anything, you should check by calling 407-WDW-TOUR.

I blelieve you can book up to a year from the tour date. I would book as soon as you know what date you want to take it. It's definitely an awesome tour!!!

I was on the phone with WDW-Tour yesterday. They are taking PS's for the rest of this calendar year, so you can book at anytime. Enjoy!!

Just a quick note. I've done two tours, Keys to the Kingdom and Backstage Magic and for both did not made reservations. We called the day before and were able to go. Both times we had very small groups. By all means make plans ahead if you want, but I just wanted to let you know my experience. Keys to the Kingdom is wonderful by the way!

Have Fun!!!

Backstage Magic...anyone know the minimum age. My DS is to young(11) for KTTK.

Thanks to everyone for the info. For anyone interested, I booked the tour this morning by calling 407-WDW-TOUR and had no problem reserving it for September 2004. Tours were available at 8:30, 9:00 and 9:30. The charge is $58 per person, but it goes down to $49 if you use a Disney Visa card (there are probably other discounts available, as well). The actual total charge for 2 people was $98.60. They charge your card now rather than waiting for the date of the tour, but a full refund is available if you cancel at least 48 hours in advance. Photo ID is necessary at check in, and they asked for the names of all people in my party. I hope this information is helpful to anyone else considering the tour.

Yes the info is very helpful!! I wish I knew my dates for sure so I could book.

DisneyMim--what time of the year did you go on your tours?

I didn't know we got a discount by using our visa. I wonder what other discounts we get...

What is The Key to the Kingdom tour?

Thanks!

This is a aprrx. 5 hour walking tour of the MK. They explain the history of Disney World and show you alot of hidden stuff. This tour includes a lunch, and a tour of the the utilidors under the castle. Also, they take you on 2 rides (w/out the lines) and explain the history and facts about it. (When we went, it was the Haunted Mansion and the Jungle Tour?)

Its a great tour, and ALOT of walking. And lunch was good. The cost was $58 pp. (if you have AP, there's a 10% disc.).

Hope this helps!:teeth:

So there I was standing just outside the Muppets at Disney Studios one afternoon and decided I wanted to take the "Keys to the Kingdom" tour. I got on my cell phone called and before I knew it I was taking the tour the very next morning.

It may make a difference what time of year (this was March) and what day of the week (Wednesday, I think). Good Luck! It is well worth doing as long as seeing how the magic happens doesn't spoil it for you. It made it more impressive to me.
::yes:: :wave2:
