Just chat/email/call MS, give them both confirmation numbers, and ask for a “continuing stay” notation to be put on both. That’s the standard notification for you to stay in the same room, which Disney prefers too, to save on housekeeping costs. When you arrive to check in, talk to the front desk to confirm it’s in place, so if it isn’t they can fix it then, when it’s easier. You may or may not need to check out then check right back in, but you shouldn’t have to pack and leave.It's two different memberships, so they can't do anything about it, but they said I may "get lucky".
