What do you do in the evenings? We'll have grandma there to watch the kids, so we'll have some date nights. We also want to have some ideas on things to do in the evenings with the kids. I know some nights parks close pretty early. What do you do with your evenings? We'll be at POP, VWL, and POR.

Thanks,

Shel

We usually head over to Epcot for the evening after the other parks close. It is usually open until 9. Another thought is to have a late dinner at one of the hotels or off site.

We like to go to Downtown Disney.

They have Pleasure Island (for you and your wife), also Disney Quest which kids would enjoy. They have two big toy stores and my DD likes to go to Ghirardelli for a sundae. They have Legoland, Virgin Records, and lots of other stores-too many to mention... just all kinds of stuff to do.

Hope this helps!!!

Chelly

6 days to go until our 4th WDW Vacation!! :cheer2:  :cheer2:

Downtown Disney for shopping, ice cream
Boardwalk - love to people watch
Swim - if it's warm enough, I love to swim at night
Miniature golf - I think they are usually open later

To Do In Evenings:
Pleasure Island/Disney Quest/ Other DD stuff (The boat ride to DD from PO is especially nice at night)
Swim at the resorts
Read/write trip reports on resort beach or somewhere comfy
Explore resort, do some resort hopping
Lay around in bed watching silly Disney cartoons on TV and eating chocolate cake

I would defintely check out Pleasure Island, especially if you'll have a sitter for the kids. Also, how about an Illuminations cruise, or something to that nature.

It's usually all I can do to make it back to the resort after dinner and make my way into bed :rotfl2:

With dinner at 6 or 6:30, I suppose we'll arrive back around 8:30 if we don't wait for fireworks in which case I'll probably freeze by the pool with a night-cap while the kids swim. On firework nights, I'll most likely be the first one asleep :teeth:

I always thought I had sufficient energy but to listen to some of you on these boards... I could never got out partying all night at PI and then let a couple of kids drag me around the Kingdom the next day. My body is used to being up at 6 a.m. and vacation is no different. I wish I could sleep until 7:30 or so :guilty:

We will be using the Kids Clubs one night and doing our own version of the Monorail Drink-A-Thon, but this has been "scheduled" the night before a non-park day (our moving day, CSR to POP) so we can sleep in.
