When is your Spring Break 2014?

Our spring break is always the week with Patriot's Day (Mass only holiday)
We will be on break April 20-27.

I hate when Easter messes up our normally light crowd week

I agree!!! I can normally navigate WDW that week with ease. But, when it falls on Easter week... Forget it!!!

New Hampshire has Spring break April 28 - May 2

Of course we also have a winter break that runs Feb 24 thru Feb 28

We're March 9-15 and slightly encouraged that it's about 4th on the list. This is a great way to find out which week NOT to go in March. Happy planning to all of those using this as a tool as I am.

Just called our school district today to get the Spring Break dates since we're now considering a trip.

Ours is April 14-21

If we go it we would arrive the week before and stay for about 10 nights. We really enjoy vacationing in the Spring as an escape from our brutal winters, but the Easter crowds and the extra cost (about $1K more than late August) are making me rethink it.

Teen DD told me today she would rather roast in August than go when it's packed, but neither one sounds too pleasant to me.

My DSs schools are always on Spring Break the week prior to Easter Sunday. However, we are going to WDW March 2-8, 2014, so we miss the majority of the crowds.

Ours always includes Patriot's Day/ Marathon Monday which is the 3rd Monday in April. Next year, it also happens to be the week after Easter. I am in MA.

My college spring break is March 16-22 however the school district I'm from alternates their spring break between the week before and the week after Easter...pretty sure it's before in 2014 given how late Easter is

In the district I work in, Spring Break is April 7 to 11. In my son's school district, which is the next town over, it's April 14 to 21.

I was thinking of an early April trip, but all the talk of how crazy it can get with Spring Break is making me think the end of April into May is the better way to go. It just means more missed school for ODS, but being it's Kindergarten I can't see it making a big difference.

We live in Atlanta and it seems that the weeks are split for some of the counties surrounding the city. I think most of Georgia is usually the first full week of April which would be the 7th-11th, but because of the way the month starts it looks like some took one week and the others took the next week. Hopefully, the different weeks will help somewhat with the traffic going to and coming back from Florida!

Cobb, Cherokee and Forsyth have March 31-April 4
Fulton, Dekalb and Gwinnett have April 7-11.

Our town always tries to cover as much of Passover as possible since we have a high Jewish population, so they are off the week of the 13th.

Our spring break is 4/18-4/27 but I am pretty sure most of the public schools in Michigan are on break the first Sunday of April through that week.
