When is YOUR SCHOOL'S SPRING BREAK-2006?

Our calendar is set by the teacher's contract here in Michigan. Since our district has not contract we have no claendar for next year but it is always the week before or after Easter Sunday.

Does anyone know when FLORIDA Spring Breaks are next year????

SW FL here....week of March 27th. Ours is always in March, then we'll also have Good Friday but not Easter week. I believe just about all the FL schools(except Catholic schools) have their break in March. The Catholic schools do Easter week.

How busy do you all think the 1st week of April will be? There isn't as many who seem to be on Spring break according to the poll. How bad do you think the crowds will be? As bad as June/July or Christmas?

WA State (North Kitsap County) breaks April 3rd thru April 7th. They also use March 30 and 31 (all day) for Parent/Teacher conferences. Seattle breaks April 10 thru 14th. Y'all will be happy to know that we won't be taking up any space at WDW this year during Spring Break..we are going to Hawaii for two weeks instead!

My answer wasn't very popular (March 20) but our Spring break usually coincides with "AEA Week," an Alabama teachers' conference. If that trend continues, virtually the entire state of Alabama will have off. Since we are within driving distance, WDW is a popular AEA Week destination for Alabamians. We plan to be there, ourselves.

I didn't vote because we don't get a whole week off for Spring break. We are off Thursday, April 13 and go back Tuesday, April 18.

I just happened to find a cruise that sails the exact dates we're off...guess what I'll be doing on our Spring break!!!

Our Spring Break begins March 27 this year, here in Okaloosa county in NW FL. This is the first year we have not had it the week after Easter, and our seasonal passes will finally be good over Spring Break! Yeah! Hopefully, we'll get to go that week.

Most, if not all, public schools in the state of Georgia traditionally have Spring Break the first full week of April. I can't say what impact this has on Disney crowds. I can't imagine it would be as bad as Christmas, though.

IN Louisville, Kentucky they have the first week in April off, starts April 3rd.
Not too sure about the rest of KY.

In our little part of SW Ohio, spring break is April 7-14. But I know that schools in surrounding communities as well as Catholic schools are generally the week after us.

OK! This poll makes me feel a bit better. Our spring break is March 25 - April 3. That is probably when we will be able to make our next WDW trip.

I was in the bookstore today and took a peek at the UG and saw those 10s listed for my week and got nervous. It didn't even list July 4th week as high!!

I haven't been really convinced that those numbers are very accurate - by my own experiences (and we went 5 times this year) so I will just do what I want and hope for the best!

Here in GB, WI we will have off March 20-24 for spring break and then the Friday before and the Monday after Easter off. We considered going in March, but the only thing is we are not sure if my DH would get vacation that week or not. So instead we will go end of April/beginning of May.

Like most Texas schools, our spring break is March 13-17. We also have Good Friday off and sometimes the Monday after Easter. This year we do not.
