When Is Your Kids Fall Break From School?

In Alabama different schools do different days but ours is out Oct 7 (Fri) and Oct 10, 11 (Mon, Tue). They have only done this for the last two years. I plan to go Oct 2006 during fall break and take my kids out one day early and keep them out one day later.

Sorry no fall break here in CT either. With all the jewish holidays as well as veterans and columbus day there seems to always be a day off a week. We get a February and April break.

We moved to Georgia in 2004 and haven't heard of of a Fall Break. When is this supposed to be? My oldest will be starting Pre-K next month.

In many Wi school districts there is a short two day break always the last thurs. and friday of Oct. Many families go to WDW either for the long weekend or for the week since their children will only miss a couple of days of school. 3 kids from DD's kindergarten class went last year.

Fall break? Never lived anywhere where you get a fall break! Guess we're not living in the right place! In TX and SC you don't get those. We get one break at Easter in SC and in TX you get it in March. School starts Aug. 11 too!

No Fall Break For us either!! We get a Mid-Winter break though!

This year our Fall Break is Wed Oct 26 - Fri Oct 28.
