when is everyone going?

Mr Mugs and I are going to see Minnie & Mickey in Jan..Staying at the Pop Century..This will be our first time staying on Disney..We have visited many times but never stayed...This should be fun for us. ..Made reservations for the Hoop-Dee-Do and the Polynesian Resort Dinner shows. Hope that the weather that time of the year is nice... We want to get away from the New England cold weather, even if its only for a week..Is there anyone else going at this time...Also if you can add any information that you might think would be helpful please share with us. I remember the first time we stayed on property after going many times. you are really going to love this experience. Smile. Drink it all in. Then plan your next visit. Hoop Dee Do and Poly shows are a blast and we haven't done either in a while.

We are going Jan 17 through 24 staying at VWL. Enjoy!

We understand that the drink cups come with the meal plans and only can be used in the Resort areas that your staying at.. I'm not sure about the drink cups comment. The drink cups I know about cost $12 and they don't come with the meal plan. Not sure they can ONLY be used at your resort. When I was at YC a couple weeks ago the sign said the cup could be used at the BCM and HH but it never said said anything like "and no place else."

Everyone here is friendly and helpful. Post those questions and by all means read through the other areas of the board because I learn alot here every day.

Ok here we go...Has anyone taken a bottle of booze on the airplane in there luggage that goes underneith?? He want to take a bottle of scotch in a un-opened bottle packed with bubble pack, wanted to know if the air lines cares if you do that? We are flying Delta. We haven't done that before and wanted some information if we could...So please help the DH. with your answer. Or should we call the air line. Thanks again. Mr & Mrs Mugs

Hi there! I have packed liquor in my checked baggage before. I bought large plastic flasks for my Jagermeister because the bottle was so heavy, I bought my rum in a plastic bottle which was nice as well. I then wrapped them in a towel and triple ziplock baggied them...lol I just just nervous about them breaking. lol it worked. I got my liquor to Disney and saved a TON of money on drinks!
I have also bought the little tiny bottles of liquor and placed them in my carry-on baggie with my liquids and gels under three ounces. Had a nice buzz going before we landed lol. (I am not as heavy a drinker as I am sure that I look like at this moment.... really.. lol)

I'm going in Feb and from what the Disney Web site and the CM told me they have added the Mug to the Quick Service meal Plan.

We have never done that before and were wondering how and if they let you do that... We know that you can not fool the cruise lines only because they really search your luggage for booze, wine etc. We have seen them do it and pull the stuff out and then call the owners of the luggage back to the luggage shipping area to tell them that the booze, or whatever has been pulled from there luggage and will be here on return from there trip.. So that is why we were asking if we were able to take Booze with us on the plane (underneith luggage) with us. With no problem.. Thanks for you help.....

Well, I'm not sure when I'll be going, but I think it'd be fun to meet folks. It's roughly 34.9 miles from my driveway to the TTC parking lot (give or take a tenth), yet I haven't visited since July 2006, even though I had free employee admission through the end of that year!

At this time, I'm considering an AP for myself, as family would rather I spend gift money on something fun, and not on reducing credit card debt. Besides, I could use the exercise, and am trying to think of something to do for my next birthday besides work (the next one is kind of a milestone, and a scary one at that).
