Can anyone give me info on when is the best time to cruise? I am thinking about the 7 night west trip. Just my dh and myself...can't wait.Went on old disney crusie line in 95 but hear it is much improved now.Any help would be great!

The short answer about the best time is that when you can go wlll be best for you.

Are you talking about best weather or best prices? Or, are you meaning best time for adults, less kids? There are lots of bests, what are your priorities?

I Guess I mean best time without kids or best time price wise!:earsboy:

Now there's and UNDERSTATEMENT!!! Whoo Boy - there's no comparison to the Big Red Boat and Disney Cruise Line. Everythings first class now!!

Price wise the best time to go is duiring huricane season, when school is out -- September to November.

The eastern cruise is less expensive than the western. And obviously the 3 and 4 nighters to the bahammas is even less money out (but the "price per hour" is the most expensive!!:earseek: - yes someone figured it out)

We went during MLK week in January once and the weather was perfect.

"Kids, what kids" on a Disney cruise!! Yes there are a lot of kids on the ship but if you want to minimize your coming in contact with them Disney does a great job of keeping adult activities and areas for adults only. So anytime is as good as any other time of the year.

Seeing where you are from is near us, I would say January. We left January 9th when it was 2 below 0 and the whole week we were gone it was all those days that it didn't get above 0. It was high 70's to low 80's on the trip the whole time were gone. So the weather was beautiful, it rained once for 10 mins in St. Maarten while we were in a store. Prices were great because kids were in school. Still a lot of children on the ship, our DS6 among them, but not like I have heard on peak times. But you didn't know there were a lot. We are planning another in January 2006 for the Western.
