When did you join DVC?

Just wondering, who was the earliest member of the DVC, not counting CMs, as I heard that they were given the opportunity to join pre-general public offering. We visited in 1991 when we were staying at Port Orleans resort {which was brand new at the time} and signed our contract and sent it back in February of 1992. When did you officialy become a member?

Late '01 early'02 Cant remember exactly cause of the holidays at that time. I just remember being anxious for the CMs to be back in office after the holidays were over.

Visited in Feb 1994 and bought from home. OKW was the only one and we had park passes included until end 1999. Wow was that a great incentive!

9/92, then we almost doubled our points on our first stay in '93. We had two years of points for our first trip, so we got the GV. We realized that we were going to need the GV every year, so we added 200 more points during that first trip.

I joined in June, 1992 after an incredibly expensive week at one of Disney's Hotels. I have always wished I had bought before that visit. I could have used the $2000 spent as part of the $12,190 I paid for my first 230 points.

We signed December 1991, were heading for the airport and had a couple of hours to kill so we took a look, it was love at first sight!! Signed the papers, did 80 MPH to the airport! Have never regretted joining, have added more points at OKW and BCV!
