when are decorations up

I know nothing is set in stone....but based on history when is the Halloween decor usually put up?

what about Christmas?

Halloween is usually up by 2nd week of September, and Christmas by 2nd week of November. There are only a few days between Halloween party and beginning of Christmas Party

I am trying to decide my "alternate" choices for my prize trip and I was thinking the fist week in nov but since that'll be between holidays I may use the second week in sept instead
